“Mallorca's best zoo in need of some change”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

Since 2009 I have visited annually with my teenage family where the Zoo has expanded its facilities for local school visits and in my opinion slipped its focus on general animal upkeep.
My favourite Griffon vulture was missing a wing in August and the 'Big Cat' enclosure by UK standards is very small. Refocus on birds, monkeys and farm animals I am sure would not diminish the visit. I will return in future.

“nice place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

really good place to visit with kids :) many trees, green nature - amazing and fresh feeling. Funny animals, many birds :) especially liked monkeys and lemurs - really cute :) recommended to visit in sunny hot days - because there you can enjoy fresh air in the shadows of trees.

“Not a bad zoo, just a poor zoo”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

I read the mixed reviews about this zoo before deciding to visit to see for myself what sort of place it was. As a student studying zoo management I knew what to look for which would class a collection as good, and after seeing Natura Park I have given an average rating. The park itself is clean and maintained - there seemed to be few staff but those we did encounter appeared to have genuine interest in their job. The zoo has a large variety of animals; including birds, farm stock, cats and primates. Most of the animals were healthy and in adequate enclosures. However, the welfare of the cats and small monkeys was poor and large birds had clipped wings - a vulture sitting like a vegetable isn't a pretty sight.
Facilities on site include a bar selling a limited food range, and an offer of free bbq on Sundays (that you cook yourself!). The entry price at 15 euros for adults is reasonable - remember, if a zoo receives few visitors, prices rise in order to have the money for necessary animal care.

“Overpriced and poorly maintained”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We rather sadly went to this 'zoo'. We felt it was terribly overpriced, and animals were poorly kept in dirty and small cages and areas. The animals and birds did not seem particularly healthy.

“awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

Animals are not kept in clean cages. Cages also look very fragile, especially the cracked glas on the panther and leopard cage!!!!!
Ashamed for supporting this behaviour by paying so much entrance fee!!
