The Delplanques' B&B is in a small suburb of Paris, a mile or two from the Francilienne, which makes it ideal as a stopover.
Despite its closeness to this main road, it is very quiet and pleasant. The B&B is in a large house with the rooms being upstairs and the kitchen area and the owner's accommodation being downstairs. (This could make disabled access difficult as the stairs are quite tight) Our room, which was for four (two twins and a double) was clean, tidy and well equipped, and of course en-suite. Tea and coffee making facilities are available all day, and there are several restaurants of varying types nearby.
The breakfast is rather unusual in that almost everything is home made ; there is a wide variety of breads of varying types and flavours to try, and assorted jams / marmalades and so on. There is a vast choice of teas available to try from all round the world to try, more so than I have seen anywhere else - easily 20 different types and probably more than that, I didn't count.
The Delplanques are very friendly and willing to help their visitors. The rates are reasonable for the area and compare well with the 'concrete block' hotels nearby.
Access can be a little tricky. The B&B is on a one way street, and whilst finding it is not difficult, it's worth checking the access with Google Maps or similar to get your way in as you have to 'come round the back' (getting out is much easier). Parking is on site and sufficient, but quite limited and tight so if you have a really large car you need to take care or possibly park on a street. Still, we managed fine with a C4 Citroen.
All in all, strongly recommended as a stopover and possibly as a base to explore Paris.
