“Great spot for lunch and”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

A lovely gallery warm with open fires in winter and cool and shady in summer, the showing change regularly. A nice courtyard features interesting sculptures
The Gallery Bar & Grill restaurant is good but can get very noisy when busy.

“Very Disappointing - Not What It Used To Be”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

Having visited this gallery many times some years ago we were very disappointed this time. We were trying to locate work by two artists and nobody showed any real interest or knowlwdge. Everyone seemed to be more interested in the restaurant.

“Welcome change from other galleries and lunch too !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We've visited a lot of art galleries and tend to find them often largely devoid of visitors, lacking in atmosphere and sometimes daunting to the point where we don't stick around for very long. Manyung Gallery is very different. It's set around a lovely courtyard shaded by a magnificent old oak tree and, inside, there is a very welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and take your time looking at a broad array of paintings, sculptures and jewellery. No sales pressure but plenty of unobtrusive help if you want it.
A separate restaurant also looks over the courtyard. The food is good and there was only one free table on the day we visited so it seems to be popular (which also adds to the overall atmosphere of the gallery). There's plenty of car parking.
Tip - go for lunch first and then have a wander around the gallery. A very enjoyable afternoon.

“Massive Family Friendly art gallery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

On the way down to Sorrento we stopped for a visit at Manyung Mt Eliza. We liked it because it was so different and well done with all the different sub galleries and big bronze sculptures in the courtyard (and free!). The kids loved it as much as we did, when we come back for another weekend we'll try the new restaurant opening soon in September I think.
