“Surprisingly upscale for the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

I stayed here to catch the Tokaido shinkansen from shinagawa station. I just looked for something cheap nearby but I was really impressed by the upscale feel of the hotel. Location is kind of random but really better than I expected for the price.

Very good hotel, the room has everything it needs and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak enough English to help with questions, including subway times during New Year's and restaurant recommendations. It's a bit far and tricky to reach from Narita airport, but once you figure it out, getting into the city is no problem. You can actually save your money for the (kind of expensive) Rinkai line and walk to the Oimachi station. It takes about 20 minutes but you're here to experience the city, right? There is a large shopping center directly across with an amazing selection of food (food court and take out from the store), with sushi, chicken, noodles and all kinds of tasty foods. It's a great (and inexpensive) alternative to eating at a restaurant every night. If you don't mind the distance from the airport, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a hotel located at a very easy location. Subway train station just in the vicinity & range of restaurants & few supermarkets just hop, step & a jump away on the other side of the road. Hotel amenities also was very good & they cleaned the room everyday.
For the betterment of the service quality of the hotel i would like to recommend to add currency exchange facility too to at the hotel.

I stayed a total of 3 nights here. The room size is typical for a Tokyo hotel. The bathroom is nicer than many business class hotels in Japan.

I had a non smoking room which was clean and in decent shape.

Breakfast was good (lots of fresh pineapple!) and a mix of western and Japanese options.

Service in the restaurant and at the front desk were good.

Location is a bit of a hassle because it is not near any tourist attractions.

We stayed here as a family of 4 (kids 8YO and 7YO), in the only family room, consisting of two twin bedrooms whose parting wall had been partially removed so that the rooms are connected by a short corridor. It is a smoking room so it did reek of smoke, but I knew that there were no non-smoking family rooms when I booked. Otherwise the room, the beds and bathroom were comfortable. We didn't have any breakfast at the hotel, but there is a shopping mall opposite where there is a selection of cafes (and a Burger King!) so we had nice breakfasts there, as well as dinner. It was easy to get to from Haneda (20 min taxi ride, about 3500 yen - there are also direct coaches from Haneda but it was too early in the morning to catch one). We paid about 25000yen per night for the room and were grateful that, unlike many other Tokyo hotels, the price did not go up on the Saturday night.

Not the most convenient of locations for sightseeing but good for Haneda airport links and one of the very few Tokyo hotels offering 4-bed rooms at a reasonable price.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for 4 nights over new years eve.. everywhere was booked out, this hotel looked like a [--] when i looked it up but we had no other option but to book it.. we flew into narita airport took a bus which took about and hour and a half.. this took us to the main hotel in shinagawa so we caught a taxi from here (they are really expensive) cost $35 AUD for not even 10 minute drive.. got to the hotel and they gave us a key to a smoking room which stunk! As non smokers it was really bad.. we requested a non smoking room and were given one straight away.. the rooms are small but they are your average hotel.. the shower was great theu had big bottle of body wash and shampoo and cond.. the room was clean..the hotel staff were friendly spoke enough english to help us with what we needed.. only wifi in the lobby.. the breakfast isnt great i wouldnt bother.. its around $20 for 2 people.. mainly japanese food.. i would stay here again if i had to but its not really worth $150 a night but it was a last minute booking..

I stayed in this hotel to work at Tokyo Big sight.
Clean and relatively large room, and self laundry facility in the basement.
1 min from Shinagawa Seaside Station (Rinkai LIne), and a few min walk to AEON shopping center (supermarket).
I would not recommend this place if your main purpose is going out for drinks, shopping etc - This area is very quiet.
