“Simple and tasty veggie food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Really sweet little bar/restaurant tucked away. The risotto was absolutely delicious, wish I'd gone back for more another day it was so tasty. Plus, the lady behind the bar(I think the owner) was really chatty, kind, helpful... A lovely place to pop into!

“Great little oasis in Japan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

We were on a boys trip to Japan from Australia for my friends wedding and were desperate to find somewhere to get a decent wholesome breakfast after the previous nights festivities. Cafe Byron Bay was just around the corner from the hostel we were staying at and we could not believe our luck. Wonderful atmosphere, great food and great service.

Nothing better than a great cup of coffee, cheesy thick toast and some bacon to make the world a better place.

“Cafe owner speaks perfect English and knows a lot about Tokyo.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

Owner of this beautiful Aussie surf resort themed cafe, is beautiful lady who speaks English perfectly. She lived in Byron Bay, Australia before and make great coffee in Aussie style. They open from morning time. So good to have a cup of coffee and breakie before sightseeing.

She can tell you well updated information about Asakusa and Tokyo in English. So just head up here after putting your backpack in your Guesthouse. Then you may find out Plan B not on guidebook.

Cafe Byron Bay is actually English Speaking Cafe for the people who is learning English. So every Japanese customers will speak in English here. It will be nice to talk with locals and say cheers together.

“Vegetarian Delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

We were struggling to find vegetarian food in Asakusa when we stumbled upon the Byron Bay. Wow, what a cosy and friendly place. Noah, the proprietor, speaks excellent English, cooks your food to order and is a really charismatic hostess. We enjoyed the place so much that we went back a second night and partied with the locals. We were made to feel very welcome. We loved it. We will definitely visit again if we are in Tokyo.

“Popped in for a drink”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

We popped in for a drink mid afternoon to take a break from the hustle and bustle. We were met by a very friendly barmaid who whipped us up two very tasty cocktails. We then proceeded to relax into a comfy sofa and have a conversation with our host. All in all a great experience.
