“Perfect location for Tokyo visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2014

This hotel was in an excellent location - close to major shopping venues and subway station. Plenty of eating establishments nearby and an excellent restaurant inside - breakfast buffet included authentic Japanese cuisine with American variations - remember to request non smoking room AND floor - it took us 3 days to get smoky smell out if our room

My biggest surprise with this hotel was how quiet the rooms were, despite being next to Ikebukuro station. The sound-proofing is amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet as there was a large variety of western and Japanese food available, so you can easily try a range of things. There is even corn-flakes if you have fussy kids with you (like me). The coffee machine was quite decent too.

The hotel is situated in a super-exciting part of Tokyo too - Ikebukuro hums at night-time and there is a massive choice of eating places. Being a few minutes from the station is a big plus. I'd stay here again if I was going to Tokyo again.

The location is very accessable, with 2-3 minutes walk from JR/Metro station, and easy to find the hotel.
Have 24 conveniecnes store at G/F and with 1~2 minutes walking distance to look for ramen restuarant which also open 24hours.

Room is small, but clean enough! But valuable ...

Loacation is fine. It takes about 8minutes to walk to the station. We stay here because it's the Tokyo Marathon's contract hotel. The Tokyo Marathon deal is good. But the room is really tiny. If you don't mind the size of the room. It's clean and with fine loacation .

I liked this place, clean, neat and the standard rooms are not too cramped, considering they are in the middle of Tokyo. I have stayed in other Tokyo hotels and sometimes you feel like you paid for a capsule, not here, you actually do have two or three feet of floor space (a little more, but you get what I mean). Restaurant is nice but expensive, just like anything else in Tokyo. Location wise this is a great place, some reviews complained of the noise from the trains -- which did not bother me one bit, very well sound isolated windows and walls, so not a big deal. Overall pleasant and I can recommend it.

the hotel is located very very near the great ikebukuro station so well you will feel the subways, some said it was noisy as hell but for me it can make me feel more in urban tokyo :) the room also so small but so clean! so many place to eat in the night, from ramen noodle to tempura, the best was not far from the hotel in the morning some street food stall offering japanese break fast and its just delicious soup i ever eat ! because its so close to the main station so thing like 24 hours store and atm is very easy to find :)

It took me and the 3 other guys I came with a while to find this place but its actually quite close to ikebukuro station. The staff were very accomodating and helped us out. I love the kimono we got as a gift.
