“Excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

This place is so easy to find, right above the train station. Our kids loved running around trying all the different buttons, it is was wonderful to see such a great attraction that is free. Staff were helpful, the kids loved dressing up in costumes and also trying this helicopters out and the fire truck, with lights and a siren. We probably spent an hour here but it was definitely worth the stop.

“An interesting an fun museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

If you're staying in the Yotsuya area check out the free Fire Museum.

PROS:
Lots of interesting displays and history on firefighting
Can sit in some of the trucks
Can dress up as a firefighter!
Free photo
Cute gift shop
Friendly staff

CONS:
Lots of stairs and slow elevator

The museum is very easy to find; it's right next to the Yotsuya Sanchome subway station.
