This hotel is really very huge.It has over 40 floors of rooms and restaurants. From what i have been told Keio Plaza is a very old hotel being built around the early 70s if i am not wrong. However the lobby is modern and bright and again huge. There are 2 entrances one of which leads to Shinjuku Station which is closeby about 5mins walk which makes it very convenient.
Checkin staff was polite in the usual japanese way but not overly friendly.I was given a room on the premium floor on the 38th floor.Room was clean and bright with a really wide window almost 20feet long!!!Beautiful view of Tokyo as you can imagine being up that high.
Room size was big with a nice bed and a lounger at the end of it.Another side table and chair against the window and a long table for a cd player, internet cable, fridge and boiler.
To the left of the door as one enters is a separate small vanity table stool and mirror.Toilet was of a decnet size clean modern and stocked with L`Occitane toiletries and with the usual hairbrush and toothbrushes common in all japanese hotels.
Did not utilise any of the restaurants so wouldnt know what the service is really like. They do however offer free internet.
Nothing really to fault about this hotel but i just find hotels of this size to big and inpersonal.Would stay here again for its beautiful rooms and convenient location.
