4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

We stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Tokyo. The hotel starts at Level 20, above a business building, so it might seem off-putting the first time you arrive, but it affords lovely views of the Tokyo skyline from all rooms. The hotel lobby is spacious and has wonderful views. The rooms are a decent size, but the bathroom is a bit small and basic. The bed was king size and comfortable. Housekeeping was just OK.
We didn't have breakfast included, so we bought supplies from the foodhall in Takashimaya Dept store opposite the hotel. You should also check out the Isetan Dept store food hall as well if you want to have a picnic style meal.
It is very close to Shinjiku Station, and the shopping areas too. But after exploring other suburbs of Tokyo, I have come to the conclusion that I personally don't like Shinjiku area as much as other areas, and wouldn't stay in that area again. If this hotel was is Ginza or elsewhere I'd definitely stay at it again without question.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, the subway is very close and it is surrounded by shopping districts. Breakfast is not included but It can be purchased for $20US dollars. It has a convenience store on the 20th floor that sells beer, wine and snacks at very reasonable prices. The paper is delivered to your room every morning. Ask for a corner room, the rooms here are more spacious and the view over Toyko is superb. This little gem is highly recommended!

We stayed here for 7 days in early June. The Narita-Tokyo limo bus drops off here, so it is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport. Our rooms were clean and quiet (which is very important to me. I love my sleep!). The wi-fi worked great. The amenities in the bathroom were very nice and a previous reviewer was quite correct when they said all you need to bring is deodorant. Since it was hot in Tokyo, we also really appreciated the bottles of water in our room everyday. The hotel honored our special requests and we had non-smoking, adjacent rooms. Shinjuku Station is very close and that made it easy to explore Tokyo. Slightly larger, fluffier towels would have been nice. There is a Krispy Kreme just outside the hotel on the way to the station! Be sure and try the green tea donut!

Stayed here last year for our honeymoon. Great location by Shinjuku station although had a bit of difficulty finding the entrance on the 1st day.

Room was pristine and a good size for a Tokyo hotel. We stayed in a superior double and felt it was worth the money.

This hotel is probably located in the best location you can ever find. It is close to the train station (less than 3 mins) and also next to Takashimaya, one of the biggest shopping place in Shinjuku. The rooms are all quite spacious compare to other hotels in Japan. The view from the rooms are also nice. One very good thing about the room is that each room has very good sound proofing walls so we didn't hear any noises during our stay. Not even the nosies from people closing their hotel room door or from the busy train station.

Similar to the comments from many other people who stayed in this hotel before, we found the housekeeping service is not as up to par. They keep the room ok tidy but a lot of the details are missing. For example, they would leave the hair dryer at where we last used it instead of where it belongs. A few times, we found some of the trash we left on the desk was untouched by the housekeeper. The staffs at concierge were also not very helpful. When we asked them about information on going to the fish market in the morning, they were not very knowledgable and only did google search which we could have done it ourselves. Luckily, Tokyo is not too difficult to navigate so we managed ok.

If we ever go back to Tokyo again, we will still choose to go back to Century Southern Tower because regardless of their average service this hotel has the most convenience location in town!
