“High Class Teppanyaki in Omotesando”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

From the moment you are welcomed out of the lift to when you leave the attention is a high level. The wine list is extensive and quality of the teppanyaki is excellent. Both the beef and the crispy fish were done to perfection. In traditional teppanyaki style dessert is in a separate lounge area. We asked for a cheese plate instead of the set dessert and staff was happy to accommodate. It was a beautiful Tokyo evening so we asked to sit outside and this request was accommodated. This is a relaxing evening for business or special event. The atmosphere is faux oak and old world but it comes off in a classy way.

“Very very good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

Following Tripadvisor reviews, I decided to have dinner there at the end of a business trip to Japan. I booked for the second shift (they stop accepting customers at 9 pm, booking was quite a good idea indeed) and arrived slightly early, but they were ready to welcome me and in about 10 mins the table (or better the seats) was ready. The dining experience was absolutely positive:
- remarkably good food
- very nice view from the 5th floor (unfortunately you sit facing the chef and not the windows, but you can turn every now and then)
- good wine selection
- caring staff, with the capability to add always a personal touch which makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning

And now the not so positive aspect: the restaurant is expensive, even on Tokyo standards. Very expensive.
However I must say that I don't regret, I will most likely try to try them again next time I am in Tokyo.

“HIGH EXPECTATIONS, EXCEEDED BREATH-TAKINGLY WELL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

This was without doubt the best dining occasion I have experienced. Expensive yes. But a bit like the extravagance of staying at the Park Hyatt, this is Tokyo and a splurge here comes highly rewarded. This shrine to teppanyaki restaurants located in Omotesando area delivered food that was unbelievable (snapper seared on the grill and then wrapped in seaweed and steamed to perfection with a butter clam sauce – this is no ordinary teppan grill!) and then to the dessert parlour for the most exquisitely delicate cakes, brulee’s etc. Then just when you think it can get not better the petit fors cart is rolled over with a selection to accompany sublime coffee. If you can summon up a couple of hundred dollars a head DO NOT MISS THIS!!!

“Discover the meaning of Tepanyaki”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2012

If you think that Tepanyaki is only to put some ingredients to cook In an iron griddle, please go to this Ukiai and redifine your mind.
Top chef cooking for you one dish at the time, high quality ingredients and amazing combinations.
Highly expensive but no regrets.

“Best tepanyaki steak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2012

Place looks nice sitting comfortably on Omotesando. Fresh abalone cooked and sautéed was superb, beef was tendered well presented and well prepared for cooking. Well done and I like it more than other steak house in Tokyo.
