We are an English couple who were staying nearby. Saw it had good scores so thought we would give it a go. It is a down a small side street so not the easiest of places to spot, but worth the effort to seek out. It seemed to be run by one man, so you order and pay at a machine (a real guess game for those who do not know Japanese (the chef did his best to help). It seems to be the choice of 5 types of noodles/ramen which he prepares in front of you as you sit at the bar. Real theatre as the locals come in and order more and more for him to cook. Food was cheap for Tokyo and while not exceptional, very good for this type of basic bars. Would recommend to the adventurous traveller but not too many as this needs to remain a local haunt to keep its character.
