The queen room was quite small but normal for Tokyo at this price point. Our travelling companions got a twin double room which was almost twice as large and only about 20% more expensive, I would recommend this option. The room was spotless, with aircon, flat screen TV and washlet bathroom. The room is very quiet, we had no trouble sleeping. The only minor issue was that the bed and pillows were a bit hard.
Front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed to rent a laptop one night and the concierge brought it immediately at a reasonable charge. We made our booking 4 months in advance and didn't reconfirm, still the check in was smooth and hassle free. It's only a small hotel so you can get personal service from the staff.
This hotel is in Akasaka, which is a cute villagey district with lots of restaurants, bars and a supermarket on the main street. There is plenty of life on the street but it's not so crazy as Shinjuku which is nice. Akasaka-mitsuke station is about 10 minutes walk and is on the Ginza and Maranouchi lines, so it has direct subway connections to Ginza, Tokyo, Asakusa, Ueno, Shinjuku and Shibuya stations. The walk is a little way but worth it for the cost of the hotel.
Overall a great hotel at this price point, highly recommended.
