Situated right next to the Conrad, this hotel is definitely not as luxurious, but you can't beat the value.
Like all Tokyo hotels, they are small, but the rooms are well kept and you've got everything you need within arm's reach. Wish there was wifi when I stayed there, but not a huge problem and it's something that I expected since it's rather common in Tokyo.
Note that the beds/pillows are a little hard. I prefer softer beds, so it wasn't extremely comfortable for me, but I didn't have a tough time falling asleep either.
Decent. Nothing to write home about, but it's again great value for money. The scrambled eggs were actually really delicious.
If you don't mind staying in Shiodome, then this hotel is a great choice. It's not as busy and chaotic as the other main parts of Tokyo, but I like how modern and clean this area is. Right next to the hotel is the train station. On top of that, Villa Fontaine Shiodome is only a short walk from Tsukiji Fish Market.
Friendly and efficient. English was not an issue at this hotel.
I would definitely return to Hotel Villa Fontaine Shiodome. For those who like to fly in from Haneda, this hotel is the perfect choice because you can take the train directly from HND and get off at Hamamatsucho station (around 20-30 mins).
