“Fint hotel med bra läge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

I sayed here for 6 nights in January.
The location is very good but it may be a bit difficult to find first time from the train station.
I had a good experience as I was upgraded to a larger room 30m2 with a garden view.

The Service is very good, they serve a simple Japanese breakfast which is included and the entire hotel feels of higher quality.

I recommend this hotel not only for business but also for family travellers, especially their larger rooms.

Located in a very newly developed area of Tokyo, Shiodome, this hotel is a very new build and caters, I think, for the business traveller rather than the tourist. As a business traveller, I found the hotel to meet all needs of the business person on a visit to Tokyo but it does lack a few things. No. 1 Personality - it is very bland and functional - no restaurant, no bar, no business centre. No.2 Breakfast takes place in the lobby and the food is much more Japanese than Western. However, the bedroom was great and the cost was very competitive for Tokyo.

Typically a business hotel, we used this location for a private vacation. This hotel is located only a few blocks from the bustling Gina Street, where there are loads of hovel bars (small, local bars). In addition, the Shidome complex has plenty of dinning options, as well as a small grocery store. Another plus was the two close subway connections that making visiting any other part of the city easy. Breakfast was also great and staff were friendly and helped out with their limited english as best they could.

Stayed two nights at this quiet nicely appointed hotel
Staff were very helpful and courteous
Room was clean and tidy - the bed was firm and there was a selection of pillows - found that very handy with a crook neck
Slept like a log
Bathroom had all the accessories in case you forgot your toothbrush etc
Breakfast was non-western but that was handy as I tend to eat too much if there are too many goodies
Checkout was 11am and you need to pay 1500 yen per hour thereafter
Overall great location and a nice hotel

Room Tip: Be prepared for non-western breakfast On the plus side - 10 min walk from ginza

This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The staff was always very helpful and there was always someone who spoke English well. The hotel was conveniently located in Shiodome near both a JR line station and the Tokyo metro (and walking distance to the fish market if that’s on your itinerary). The included breakfast was very good as well. Overall a great value pick for anyone looking for a simple and comfortable hotel from which to explore Tokyo.

Typical Japanese hotel, efficient, clean, small rooms, but not too expensive. The best part is its an easy walk to Ginza so if you want this as a base for both business and shopping it's hard to beat. As mentioned breakfast is a bit unusual, there's no proper set-up, so they do a kind of daily "field kitchen" buffet in the lobby, complete with army style meal plates. It's not as bad as it sounds, there's a mix of things, so it's always possible to find something to eat. Can get busy though, so you have to be comfortable sharing tables with strangers, "Asian style".
If you arrive late as we did, the solution to no room service is the Dominos Pizza, menu in the room, don't worry they speak English and deliver to your room. The internet is superfast, but by cable so if you want to use your ipad etc, better carry a travel router, or sit in the lobby.

Room Tip: Depending on which side of the building you are, you may get a good view... or not. But if you reall...

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Was on the 10th floor so had a nice view out over Tokyo Bay only partially blocked. The breakfast is included and others have written is nothing special. Its more that adequate though if you like a simple japanese style breakfast...would not leave to the end of the closing time though..starts getting cold.

Easy access to shimbashi station though an underground network of walkways. Plenty of restaurants around station. There is a skybar on the 41st floor..has a cover charge though but worth the view.

Room Tip: Gor for the corner rooms. Vending machines with beer available on each floor. Also a small laundry...
