This is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but you expect that i think in a budget hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. It was in a good location for the city sights and the transport system. Food and drink options were limited, but quality was high. No room-based WiFi, but good connection in the reception area. All the staff, without exception, were brilliant. Friendly, courteous, efficient. Could not fault them.

1th time visit to Tokyo the Villa Fontaine has all your needs covered very clean good start to your day with a hearty free breakfast , transport just outside the door @ Shiodome Station lots of chooses for evening meals. Internet available free of charge also a laundry.

I come to Japan often for business, I stated at the Villa Fontaine for two nights, the rooms are immaculate, the beds are great with down pillows and the AC gets nice and cold. The rooms are a little small but this is Japan after all, free internet however its hardwired in the rooms there is Wifi in the lobby. The hotel is located right next to the Shimbashi train station which makes it very easy to get around the city.

My only complaint about the hotel is the “free” breakfast, its pretty bad and very limited in what is served. If you like OJ, coffee milk and rolls its fine but the cooked food is not very good.

The hotel get’s an A in my books if your looking for something simple and right to the point. The hotel is located inside an office building which is a little odd but the entry is beautiful.

Modern, clean hotel, with rooms bigger than the standard in Japan. Breakfast is very good and relatively diverse.
The only issue is the location - it is super convinient for the fish market. But- for virtually any other destination - you have to walk ~900 meters in underground passages of office spaces to the subway / rail line. Nothing in the immediate proximity. In late evenings ( especially week ends), it isn't so fun.
So - if walking 9 minutes several times a day ( in nice passage) and nightlife isn't your thing, go for it. Value is very good for this part of Tokyo.
