One of the most satisfying stays I have ever had. This Hotel was absolutelly flawless and by far surpassed my expectations.
We arrived at NRT and took the "Frindly airpot shuttle", who were trully friendly, over to the hotel. The ride was 3,000 yen per person, but its quite far and i guess the most convenient alternative since they drop you off right at the door.
We were greeted by friendly staff who promtly checked us in and escorted us and the bags up to our room. They put us up at the 31st floor -- WHAT A VIEW!! Keep in mind this hotel has only 33 floors, 32nd floor is for royal suites and 33 floor is for restaurants.Even the ride up with the all-glass elevator was cool. Also, they got separrate elevators for Premium/Superior room guests - a very nice touch! Kind of like First class on a plane.
The room, while not huge, had everyting and anything you could possibly want. All ammentities from bath robe to slippers etc. etc. These were changed every day and the toiletries replenished. If you stay here, you will not need any personal hygene stuff, they got it all.
It was the cleanest room/bathroom I have ever stayed in.
The breakfast buffet was absolutelly awesome. They had it all...and more. Exteremly well organized, excellent service and everything was fresh and constantly replenished. Best breakfast buffet I have ever seen, by a large margin. Please note, the breakfast is 3000 yen, so make sure you get that included in your stay. Our breakfast was included in the stay, we received breakfast coupons upon check-in.
The location was ok, with subway station close by. However, the hotel wasn't in any busy district such as Ginza or Shunjuku, some might see that as a drawback. We did walk back from Ginza once, and actually it wasnt that far. Not to mention it was quite good for sightseeing. The Hotel is located in a small park, great for evening walks. Otherwise its walking distance from Roppongi hills district.
The staff was amazing. Extremelly friendly and promt to respond to any requests. Overall - highly recomended.
