“Excellent brunch, fantastic service and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

This is a lovely cafe, French style so very cosy and homely. The staff were so friendly, attentive and gave amazing service. The food was excellent, and we were very happy with all you can drink tea and coffee for brunch. Highly recommend when you need a good western breakfast/ brunch in Tokyo.. as eating local food is great but sometimes you can't face fish sushi for breakfast!

“One of the best Tokyo breakfast experiences”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

Lauderdale had a good write up in Bento as having fantastic souffle on their brunch menu. With that in mind we headed up to Roppongi Hills at around 9am on a Sunday morning and found Lauderdale filling quickly with a morning trade. Brunch from 8am includes a good variety of options from 1500 - 2300 yen. The brunch menu comes with two sides, one of which can be a drink, including free refill coffee. The atmosphere is lovely, the service attentive but not obtrusive, bringing a side table for purse when we sat, and another for drinks and other items when the meals were served. The souffle with mushroom and gruyere was exceptional, light, fluffy with crispy outside and moist inside.
A lovely way to spend a casual Sunday morning with great food, great coffee, great service and a lovely environment. Can't recommend more.

“Casual yet chic”

Really pleasant atmosphere, fabulous casual meal - great quality food & adequately attentive service. Good value particularly in this part of town.

“Best breakfast in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

FANTASTIC! Directly across the street from the Grand Hyatt. Fantastic breakfast! Croissants are freshly made there and are wonderful and huge. Small warning … The basil and gruyere omelet is green and gives new meaning to green eggs and ham... but is still good but for the next few days I ordered just a gruyere cheese omelet which is fantastic (and yellow) – the bacon is western type and nice and crispy and the sausage is more like small hotdogs. The OJ is freshly squeezed when you order it – the coffee lait is wonderfully strong and freshly made. The service staff is unbelievable and works very hard with English speaking clients (like me). They were pleasant to see each day and genuinely happy to see us!

“Casual brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Okay, I'm not from the US but I have had a couple of brunches over the years. A couple of days ago Lauderdale next to Roppongi hills here in Tokyo.
The brunch menu I choose from has six or eight mains ranging from about 1600-1800yen, with eacg main you get to choose two sides/appetizers, e.g. coffee, OJ, rilette, falaffels etc.Coffee is free flow if that is what you choose.
I had a mushroom&gruyere souffle and my partner pancakes with cranberry jam.
The souffle was excellent, perfectly made, fluffy but still creamy and very tasty, it could hardly have been made better. The pancakes were also very good with the nice touch that the cranberry jam had a strong and pleasant real cranberry taste, also not too sweet.
Service was good and generally attentive, including that the coffee was frequently re-filled, they were a little slow to get the water first though. When the food came they set up a small side table next to our table so that all could fit. Seating on the patio was nice and not too hot this time, tables ok and the chairs a little hard.
So for a casual brunch in Tokyo, at a price less than 2000 yen, this very good and a place I'd strongly recommend. The location is also very convenient just next to Roppongi hills.
