“Recommendation as business trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

I'd like to review the hotel based on the my experience and regarding to 3 aspects.

1. Location: I really recommend the hotel from the view point of the location. For the first, you can simply get this hotel from Akasaka subway station. Just 5 minutes walk then you can get it. Also easily recognize this hotel due to the large signboard. There are several convenient stores, fast food store and many Japanese food stores. Convenient store is just next to the hotel. So if you forget something when preparing business trip, you can buy anything on the convenient stores. Above is why I rank 5 starts regarding to the location.

2. Room status and facilities
I used twin room with my friend. Though you choose twin, you may feel inconvenient due to the small space. Because almost Japanese hotels are compact size, you can't expect the large space hotel. What I felt the most awful thing in the hotel is the size of the bath room. If you are a giant, you can't do your business. Just image the public restroom that is smallest thing in your country. I swear the size of the bath room in this hotel is much smaller than the public restroom. There is washing tool such as shampoo and toothbrush. But I recommend you to prepare your own one. However, you can use a bidet when you do the business. There is free Wi-Fi system but access speed seems like turtle. I recommend wired internet.

3. Services
I recommend you to visit this hotel with breakfast even vegetarians. You can select various vegetables, fishes, breads and juices. There is just one free water bottle for one night. Normally cleaning man can’t speak English well. So please ask something to receptionist.

It was nice to live in the hotel, and the hotel staffs are friendly.Although the room is a little bit small,
the staffs there keep room quite clean,so my family live quite comfortable.By the way,the location is good, near the Akasaka staton.(Also if you are hungry or tired, there are one or two convenient stores near the hotel)

you can eat some food like 丼飯(is it called "Donburi" in Japan?) around here when you are hungry at 10:00~11:00 PM.And don't worry about the language problem, their guys are very nice.Oh,by the way,it's not difficult to buy food here. The only thing you have to do is try to find the English menu or find the machine to buy ticket,or just tell them what you want in English and with some movements.

If you’re a shopaholic (like us), Akasaka Yoko Hotel is the right pick. It is within walking distance to Tokyo Midtown Plaza - an ultra modern mall that houses trendsetting boutiques & upscale outlets (such as Dean & DeLuca & Maison Kayser).
The hotel is also near a train station wherein for a merely 20-minute ride you’ll find yourself in the midst of Shibuya – taking souvenir photo/selfie with Hachikō, walking across its famous crossing & conquering all of its shopping malls, cafes, restaurants & entertainment.
Like most hotel rooms in Japan, ours is undersized. Given that we will only utilize it for sleeping & other personal matters, it was A-OK. Its saving grace was the bathroom where the toilet seat is packed with buttons. Nonetheless, it’s not rocket science to figure out which is for what.
The selection on the breakfast buffet was similar each morning but it was substantial. We found the buttered pastries irresistible and that’s what we had every day together with a hot cuppa plus other choices, of course.
Since Wi-Fi is only available at the lobby, this gives us the opportunity to do other tasks like visiting the nearby convenient store for last-minute buys.
The staffs are friendly and although they have limited knowledge of the English language we were able to exchange a few words. One time, sensing that it was drizzling, without asking they offered brollies on our way out. Quite impressive!

Location is good, near the Akasaka station (walk about 5-6min). The room is small but clean. Hotel is quiet in night so we have nice sleep. Hotel staffs are friendly and nice, they also have fluent English. Breakfast is buffet, it's tasty.

It's a basic hotel but it's quiet, clean, good for a week stay with convenience stores and shops nearby. Location of this business hotel is good. Bathroom is very small. No wifi in the room except lobby area.
