“Excellent stay, One of the best !!”

I stayed in 2 Hyatts in Tokyo (Other being Hyatt Regency) and i must say that the Grand Hyatt was really one of the best hotels I've stayed with. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a lot of modern decor, fixtures and amenities available. The baths was luxurious and the toilets simply amazing.

Location wise is pretty OK. Its situated in Roppongi as part of the structure of the Roppongi Hills Mall. There were plenty of nightlife situated around and the Mori tower is only a stones throw away. During my visit the Mori Tower was closed for renovation so i couldn't visit it.

Overall its an amazing hotel with a very nice Bakery on ground level.

My stay at the Grand Hyatt was impeccable from check-in to check-out. I booked my stay using American Express' Fine Hotels and Resorts service. Included in the stay was a free upgrade, breakfast for two each day, $125 Food credit, and early(12pm) and late checkout(4pm). My upgraded room had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and was minimalistic, yet modern. Service and food at the Oak Door was great as well. Great value especially with what American Express' deal had to offer. Thanks again for the great experience.

We have stayed at both the Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt but have a preference for the Grand Hyatt as we find the location more convenient. As has been said before, the rooms are good (not great though - indeed Park Hyatt has better quality rooms as you'd expect) and the service is exceptional.

We stayed here again in December 2014. I would like to add 3 points to my previous review of this hotel.

1. The concierges here are extremely knowledgeable, diligent and helpful. Many of them seem to have been here for years. They were top class in helping me get restaurant bookings at a difficult time of the year for bookings.

2. The gym and pool is first class. I had the whole pool to myself, though I do wonder what happens when more than 3 people want to use the 3 lanes!

3. The bellboys out front could do with some improvement. We found they struggled to give us sound directions, and often just told us to either take a taxi (which was unnecessary) or told us to take extremely simple but far longer paths.

I stayed in Grand Hyatt in September on a 4 day trip. The Hotel is simply complete in all aspects. Rooms are great, location is excellent. Service was quite efficient and helpful. Pool area could have been slightly better but was certainly not bad.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with window facing outside i.e. in opposite direction of Roppongi Hills.

The Grand Hyatt is by far my favorite hotel in Tokyo for both business & pleasure (followed closely by the Palace Hotel), beautiful spacious rooms with amazing views, excellent bathrooms with huge sunken baths & lots of closet space. The Grand Hyatt offers a vast choice of restaurants, dinner at Shunbou is a must , make sure to try their homemade tofu and also the sparkling sake. The Keyakizaka resturant is also worth a visit, ask for a counter seat and try the tasting menu which is cooked in front of you. The service in the hotel is of the highest standard, Concierge is one of the best i have ever dealt with and so helpful. The spa and pool is the perfect place to relax after a long flight. Location is perfect, make sure to check out the Mori Museum and gardens situated just behind the hotel. Also worth a visit is the new Jean George restaurant which is across the street from the hotel. Train station is right next to the hotel and easy for getting around Tokyo. I cant fault this hotel in anyway, it is always a pleasure to stay here.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with either a Mount Fuji view or Tokyo tower view, you wont be disappointed.

We have stayed in Tokyo a few times and decided to mix it up a bit and stay here. In part it was because we are serious foodies and Atelier Joel Rubichon is in the same set of buildings. Atelier aside [though we went and it was lovely] the GH is a gem in its own right. A serious highlight was the steakhouse bar - the staff make really - really - good cocktails [yes we are drinkers as well as eaters] and they also do a little body sway/dance as they do so - drinks and entertainment. A special mention to the multi-lingual Junior from the Philippines - who was a delight and he had the best cocktail shaking body action. The steakhouse itself was a great venue for dinner. The Italian restaurant on another night, similarly. The rooms were cool - well designed, nice spaces. The staff were super helpful. Located in Roppongi, so access to interesting places and spaces. We will be back. And when we are we are heading for that bar. The only off note was the breakfast in the French Cafe - over populated and understaffed so room it - or get adventurous and get a cab to Bills, which is awesome. PS: If smoking in bars bothers you - heads up - that's Japan. But rest assured the people watching will take your mind off it.

Room Tip: King corner is great.

Was here on business. Personally would not select this high end priced hotel. But if you can have your company hook you up. Do IT!
Amazing.
Luxury at its best.
Rooms are perfect. Spacious. Modern.
The views are awesome.

Service is untouched. Enjoy.

Location is great. Train station just minutes walk.

Lots of great restaurants. Short train to Shinjuku for more fun. Main train station in Shinjuku for more connections.
Easy to understand.

Food here was awesome. Careful with the prices. If you are on business and have allowance it's easy to go over. Use the conversion factor correctly.

Enjoy this luxury.
