“Roomy and Comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

I stayed at this hotel with a small tour group for three nights. The rooms were quite spacious and there were many amenities for your use in the bathroom. There was also a room safe in a good sized closet. It was not noisey and very comfortable in the room I had overlooking the harbor with a queen sized bed. The location was close to two shopping malls, each with a 105 yen store and there were also two convenience stores adjacent to the lobby. The train station was just a short walk from the lobby. And there was a free shuttle to Venus Fort, a third shopping mall with attractions for kids and a couple of rides as well as the Toyota museum, which I did not have a chance to visit.
Service was good and the staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffets downstairs as well as on the 30th floor were the usual mix of Japanese and American, and more than ample. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: The hallways are longer than they appear because they are not long and straight so request a room no...

We had a very comfortable room with a great view in direction to the rainbowbridge.
The location of the hotel is not so closed to the citycenter, but very close are the shopping malls of odaiba. The staff was very helpful and obliging. I would go there again.

This is a very classy Hotel. Very close to lot of tourist attractions. Less than 2 mins walk to the train station. The hotel buses are free for the surrounding tourist locations. Walk to the Mall and a great view of the skyline. Very friendly and courteous staff. The hotel has staff to guide the tourist in case they are not very familiar with the city. They map out the whole route and even make print outs for you. Over all a very pleasant experience.

This is a very elegantly appointed hotel with gracious, friendly staff and, whilst not in Central Tokyo, is really quite well located.

The concierge was extremely helpful in recommending and booking some city tours, providing lots of useful information and the transfer of our luggage was managed most efficiently.

The room we had was beautiful if small, but very comfortable with a lovely bathroom and great outlook.

It was disappointing and puzzling that the hotel's French restaurant was open only a couple of random nights during our 5 night stay. Disappointing also was the 500 yen charge for a very small glass of milk for our in room coffee.

Distance from central Tokyo is not really a problem as Daiba train station is literally at the side door of the Hotel. Trains come along every 10 mins so You can very quickly be in Ginza 15 mins or,as we did, Shibuya 25 mins.

There is plenty of shopping opportunities nearby as well with Aqua and Diver City shopping centres within a couple of hundred metres and the hotel's own shopping arcade also worth exploring.

We avoided the hotel's buffet breakfast at $35 per head and went for one of the numerous cafes nearby serving excellent pastries etc.

All in all, it's pretty good and Yes I'd stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel on our recent trip to Tokyo. Since most city hotels were full we had to choose the Grand Pacific Le Daiba. It's about an hour from the city. The hotel has excellent facilities. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. This hotel has free Wifi only in the lobby area. However, you can request for a router to be installed in your room free of charge for the duration of your stay.
There are shopping facilities close by. That said, one has to bear in mind that Tokyo is a very expensive city. Shop only when there is a sale or the offer is too good to resist. If you pay for a room with a good view then you get to see the Rainbow Bridge from the comfort of your room. Otherwise, the breakfast room on the 30th floor gives you an excellent view of the bridge albeit during the day. The hotel merits its five-star status!

Price: 8/10
First of all, it's quite pricey and might not be your best choice if you are under a budget. It's a five star hotel in Odaiba area in Tokyo.

Room: 10/10
The room I stayed in was quite big and completely shattered my expectation and assumption that hotel rooms in Tokyo would all bevery tiny and small. Well, I guess the price makes for the spacey rooms.

Hotel Staffs: 9/10
The hotel staffs are very friendly, nice, and well mannered (I find that most Japanese are very well mannered). However, as an international 5 star hotel, not many of the staffs speak English and the one who speaks English may not have the best spoken English skills. When I tried to find something to do during the New Year's Eve, I asked one of the staffs and had quite a difficulty talking to them. But, they are still the best. In my opinion, they are very very helpful and informative. I can see how they tried very hard to answer my questions and gather as much information as they could to make my time there a great one.

Location: (9/10)
This hotel is located in a strategic location in Odaiba area. It's close to shopping malls (Diver City, Aqua City), public transits (Daiba Station on Yurikamome Line), amusement park (Joypolis), and a lot of goo restaurants.

Views: (9/10)
The hotel has some great views. If you are lucky, you can get a hotel room that has a view of the Rainbow Bridge.
