“Big touristy hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This hotel is huge.Location is near Haneda airport and Disneyland. There is a shuttle bus service to both.Pretty convenient as there are shopping malls nearby and restaurants. If you want to go to town theres a single railway line that runs frequently to Shimbashi which takes about 25minutes and from there you can connect to most of Tokyo.
Decor of the hotel is colonialish.Big lobby with restaurants and shops surrounding.Unlike other 5 star hotels that i have stayed in Tokyo there are no bellhops to assist guests with their bags after alighting from the limousine bus.Only when guests walk into the lobby do they offer assistance.
Checkin was quick polite but typically japanese style..formal.My room on the 10th floor was on the small side.A queen size bed with chairs placed right next to bed there was hardly any room to move between it.The desk was at the end of the bed and had the tv and the kettle and minibar.Toilet was decent size and they had nice toiletries and alot of amenities like plastic hairbrush and scrub cloth inside a wicker basket.
Pillows on the bed was to soft for me and i wokeup with a neckache.Airconditoning worked well and was quiet.
The hotel is well maintained and probably a few years old.Clean...but the decor wasnt really to my liking.Caters to mainly tour groups and holiday makers.

I stayed in the hotel for a total of 5 weeks this year (2012) and was very pleased with the
-service (friendly)
-the room(spacious, quiet, nice bathroom, breathtaking views)
-the restaurants (though they are pricey)

.. and all the shops around. There is plenty of shops, cinema's, restaurants both cheap and more upper segment. Good connections to the city, expect this takes 30 though. There is a very nice ferry to downtown Tokyo as well.

More info. There is wired internet, no WiFi as of 12/12/2012. The tv has an english manual which is really necessary. most programs are in Japanese either original or voiced over. CNN is in English and there are some other international shows.

It was a very relaxing place during my intense working weeks in Tokyo.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the Bay side, ask for a view on the Rainbow Bridge. Though the other side has a vie...

The staff are wonderful, rooms unusually grand and spacious. We love each visit to the Grand Pacific (this is our 4th time). The boys and I, now 7 and 10, always stay here to catch the latest things that Odaiba has to offer, which is always lots.

Room Tip: The bike riders at night can be noisy so ask for a higher floor room. Also, search the internet, the...

Very nice hotel on the artificial island across from Tokyo. You can reach downtown by a monorail train that is frequent and convenient but f you are looking for the hustle and bustle of Tokyo this is quiet and off the beaten tract.
Wifi only in lobby and spotty elsewhere, internet is by line and slow. Breakfast upstairs has incredible views but the buffet is pretty ordinary.
Japanese sushi on the 3rd floor restaurant was ok but the restaurant was empty.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the city not overlooking the docks.

Stayed here for a week at the end of November, arrived at Narita airport at 0900 and was worried we wouldnt get into our room till after the 1500 checkin time, but it wasnt so.

We just missed the direct express bus from Terminal 2 to the Hotel direct so had to wait till about 1045 ( 1 hour wait) bus was fine cost 2700Yen (about £22) was clean efficient and very quick, we were the second stop so got to the hotel around 1200. Got checked in straight away and was taken to the 18th Floor, room was very nice, clean and bathroom was European sized and had a shower and a bath. Had a gtreat view of the bay and the car park below where they were "Drifting" in their souped up cars. Earthquake happened second night just as I got out of the shower...it was an experience but was only a 4.9. Buy a Passmo card for the travel to and from Central Tokyo, its like an oyster card and you can charge it with cash very easily. it works for both the underground and also the private railways. Be sure to catch the last train back to the hotel as a taxi fare is about 5000 yen no matter where you seem to come from. Last train is around midnigth so if you intend to make a night of it be aware of the cost.

Stayed in Room 1842, Wifi is Free, not 2000 yen as advised, however you do need to ask reception for a router which they will supply and show you how it works as well.

Checkin and checkout were both very quick, bus back to the airport has to be booked beforehand and costs the same 2700 yen each.

We would go back in a heartbeat!

Extremely clean and updated hotel, bathroom had a soaking tub & shower and a very fancy toilet/bidet combo. Breakfast was very good, had various American offerrings. Hotel was very quiet and comfortable. I would definately stay here again.

Le Daiba is a very nice 5 star reasonably priced hotel which is perfectly situated near to Tokyo Big Sight. It takes about 16 minutes to travel to Shimbashi station which is next to Ginza area. The area around Le Daiba is not very exciting.
Unfortunately wifi is not included and will cost yen2000!/day.
Room and bathroom are big !
