“Decent hotel, impeccable service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

Decent hotel, accessible by airport limo service from Narita Int'l Airport, as with most hotels. Room size are comparable to typical hotels in Tokyo, which are fairly tight, but okay for single traveler. Had a king size bed, with several pillow options. (Side note: I was surprised to find hotel rooms in Osaka are much larger, and more comfortable - ref. to my recent stay at the Swissotel Nankai Osaka) Hotel staffs are friendly and speak good English. Front desk staffs are really nice and helpful. One dislike is distant to the subway station is a good 10mins walk away despite the entrance is right next to the hotel.

We stayed 9 days in this hotel. We booked a normal non smoking room. The room itself was outdated a bit and very small. If you want to have a bigger renovated room you have to pay more (which we did not want to). The bathroom is also small with no ventilation. However, the bed was amazing. We had such a good sleep. I wish our bed was as comfortable as this one. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. They helped us in whatever we needed. Breakfast buffet is very big and does not leave you with any additional wish. Every morning we received the daily newspapers as well. That was a nice touch. The gym is small but has the necessary basics. The only thing that was not ok at all is that hotel guests had to pay 35 dollars a day to use the pool. The reasoning behind it was that otherwise there are too many people at the pool..... weak reasoning and I understand that the pool needs control but not in that way with such a high rate. Furthermore, in todays technology, I find it also silly to charge for the use of the internet connection. This should be included in the price as I am sure that the cost of what you have to pay is way over what it costs them.
Overall I am satisfied and I would go there again as the hotel is located very centrally with very good connections (metro).

Service was great. Pretty much every employee speaks English, which is convenient. Maybe a half mile or so walk to the Roppongi area, which is full of restaurants, bars (and as I discovered, a number of strip clubs.)

The hotel was fine, the location was good. The rooms are small but efficient, this is Japan.
I was really disappointed by the housekeeping so will not return. I requested extra towels due to a flood in bathroom. When i was out the dropped the towels on my bed, but forgot the old towels and did not take away my completed pom service tray. Another day they took down the shower curtain but did not replace. A little surprising for Tokyo where service is supposed to be so good. Gave another star for the good concierge.

The location are perfect for who would like to visit art museums, the room are a little bit small but for that price I suppose is the standard for Tokyo. Front desk, concierge, was really efficient, several time they help us for different things... we spend nights in shibuya and shinjuku too but roppongi are defenetlly my favorite till now. 5 minutes walking from subway restaurants shops and art museums. Good price!! Highly recommend for that price..

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on a business trip. The service throughout was outstanding. Room was clean and had everything that I could need. Would comment that the bathroom though was tiny and the room was definitely much smaller than my room at the Westin hotel in Tokyo. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the food was excellent. I also ate at the Teppanyaki restaurant, which was outstanding. There's no spa but you can get shiatsu massage in your room. I did twice-- both times it was an older woman-- one was excellent and one was average. The hotel is quite large and definitely caters to a more business crowd and an American clientele. English spoken throughout is good. I would recommend the hotel, but in terms of personal taste/decor and having a larger room, I'd probably choose the Westin again over ANA, but I had a good stay with no complaints.

For anybody who would have to work in Akasaka or wants to visit concerts at suntory hall, the Ana Intercontinental Hotel is the place to stay. Of course , the Okura has more renommé, but the Ana is the far better hotel ! It is quite new, well maintained and you'll find all the convienences of a modern hotel.

the rooms are modern, well designed and mostly have a stunning view onto the traffic highways which never stop guiding cars trough this crazy city. So the rooms are also a bit noisy, at least you can hear the traffic all night.

The rooms are well equipped, You will find everything you might ask for. Even a foot massage barn made of bamboo.

Room service is excellent, also room cleaning is very careful and keeps everything needly and clean.

The breakfast restaurant on the 2.floor is spacious and offers a great variety of food from western style to japanese style breakfast.

There is also a pool and a fitness center.

Service at the reception and bell service is good, but due to so many guest you might calculate some waiting time.

Room Tip: the higher the better
