“Decent Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

I stayed several times at this hotel.

I can tell good location for business, decent facilities, spacious rooms and many.

Front clerk were kind and polite, but not efficient.
And club lounge has poor variety of food presentation, so I choose not to use club lounge the other times.

But I like Intercontinental chain hotels, and likewise ANA Tokyo

Room Tip: Some room has graveyard view (you only can see at the day...) which I didn't like.

Great hotel, central to great food and music venues (check out B Flat Jazz club). Transport options are too easy. Great champagne bar.
Staff are excellent, interested and abundantly helpful. Well done.

I stay at the ANA Intercontinental every time I am in Tokyo. Overall I like the hotel. The rooms are a decent size, however the bathrooms are small (but well stocked with amenities). My stays are usually limited to 2 or 3 nights so I can overlook the small things. I have never had a bad meal in any of the hotel restaurants and the breakfast buffet serves both eastern and western foods. The concierge is very helpful with restaurant suggestions and transportation needs. The one thing I think they can easily address is the television. There are very limited English stations and most of these are news stations. So if you are accustomed to relaxing in front of the TV you may want to consider this.

I stayed in the hotel for about 4 weeks in month of Oct - Nov 2012. Hotel is conveniently located near to metro station , with lot of super stores near to it. For night life people can walk up to Ropongi .

Quality of sleep was excellent. I an a Indian and vegetarian , there are 3-5 Indian restaurants located near to hotel. Food in hotel is bit pricy , but worth the quality.

The rooms are good with nice facilities even if they are a little small compared with others nearby; service though is very attentive and overall atmosphere is relaxing and a welcoming.

This is a great hotel to stay for business. It can be pricey unless you know the secret - join the Intercontinental Ambassador's club. It costs $200 per year, but I made this back with one stay at this hotel: VIP greeting, complimentary upgrade to a junior suite, 1 free breakfast, fresh fruit upon arrival, mineral water in room replenished daily, in-room gift, extended checkout—up to 4pm, dedicated Ambassador check-in area, one complimentary pay-TV film per stay, complimentary newspaper delivered daily. The food at the restaurants was all delicious and priced to what you would expect in Tokyo (ie, expensive). Rooms include LCD television, refrigerator, iron, mini bar, scales, hair dryer, bidet, toiletries, bathrobe (28-35th floor), safety box, high-speed 100 Mbps internet access (JPY1,575 per day) and massage services 10:00a.m. - 2:00a.m JPY5,250up / 45min and JPY7,000 / 60min. I have stayed at many hotels in Tokyo including the Grand Hyatt and this one is my favorite.

Room Tip: Pay the additional JPY10,000 per day for the Intercontinental Club level: includes deluxe breakfast...

This hotel is in a great location near to numerous bars and restaurants, which is good since the hotel bars are a bit pricey even for Tokyo. The rooms are good with nice facilities even if they are a little small compared with others nearby; service though is very attentive and overall atmosphere is relaxing and a welcome break from hectic Tokyo life. Top floor bar is very good but pricing means it is a one drink destination! Free late check out was a bonus since it is rare in Tokyo.

Let's be honest - Tokyo is over-priced EVERYWHERE. So I'll take that out of the equation. They have a 24 hr gym that they do not charge you for (Hope you are listening Sheraton Miyako!!), numerous bars and restaurants, and you are close to a number of train stations and short cab trips to roppongi. If you are a traveler that looks for hotel points - stay here and get your IHG points and enjoy the best hotel value in the Roppongi area.

Room Tip: Stay above the 15th floor.
