“This is like 3-Michelin stars for vegetarians!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

The most incredible all vegetarian place I've ever been too. Super creative and visually stunning all veggie sushi. Great service, great food. A must even for carnivores. Must get the beet sushi -- you will be shocked how incredible it is! For special evening n town, go to the Bacarat B Bar 1 block away, and then Potager for dinner!

“Terrific version of sushi for vegetarians”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2012

Given that most sushi demands the presence of raw fish, Potager is a real anomaly: everything is made from vegetables. The strange thing is that everything resembles traditional fish-based sushi, even though it's been created from tomatoes, avocado and the brilliance of the chef.

As well as sushi there's vegetable tempura, which is good, but is just vegetable tempura; the unique thing here is definitely the sushi. I had a tasting platter made up of eight pieces of sushi, each carefully explains by the waiter; of these, the second four were more enjoyable, more flavoursome, although that may just have been a function of getting over the culture shock of eating things that appeared to be fish when they weren't.
