“Fun & Tastey”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Uoshin has a fun festive atmosphere and great place with to go with a group of friends. Thought the fish here was excellent and a great place to grab a drink after a long day. Service was good and friendly. Prices were okay relative to Tokyo. Would definitely come back.

“If you want the best sushi in Tokyo... GO HERE!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

I went here with my Japanese Homestay, when I went to Tokyo last year. This is THE BEST Sushi place hands down! I have been to Sushi Mizutani and Saito and they don't even come near the quality of Uoshin's Fish. The reason why there menu is handwritten is because of the fact that they order their fish daily from Tsukiji Market, which is the biggest fish market in the world. (In Tokyo Bay). Although it is pricey, it is worth every yen! Highly recommended!

“Wow, the fish! Wow, the fun!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

This place looks too funky to be good, but not true! The fish is fantastic, fresh and perfectly served - raw or cooked. The bohemian wait-staff seem to really enjoy their jobs and want to ensure that their customers enjoy their experience. We lucked out and got seated right away. This is a place for everyone: families with kids, business dudes, ladies-night-out types, date night, boisterous friends. The food is terrific, the atmosphere equal to it. Really reasonably priced as well. Go!

“Worth while waiting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

Everytime I passed by, I saw full of people in this place. Sometimes there was a line of people waiting outside.
FInally I knew the reason.
What's the best in Uoshin is their atmosphere. They're energetic like fish market.
Off course they serve fresh seafood and wide variety of alcohol.

“trust me-best sushi in tokyo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2012

this is not for lovers of elegant atmosphere, this is for people who love loud but real place, with real japanese food & friendly atmosphere. sometimes the lines for the table are long but its worth waiting. Uoshin stands for freshness - the most important thing when eating sushi or sashimi
