This place looks too funky to be good, but not true! The fish is fantastic, fresh and perfectly served - raw or cooked. The bohemian wait-staff seem to really enjoy their jobs and want to ensure that their customers enjoy their experience. We lucked out and got seated right away. This is a place for everyone: families with kids, business dudes, ladies-night-out types, date night, boisterous friends. The food is terrific, the atmosphere equal to it. Really reasonably priced as well. Go!

Everytime I passed by, I saw full of people in this place. Sometimes there was a line of people waiting outside.

What's the best in Uoshin is their atmosphere. They're energetic like fish market.
Off course they serve fresh seafood and wide variety of alcohol.

this is not for lovers of elegant atmosphere, this is for people who love loud but real place, with real japanese food & friendly atmosphere. sometimes the lines for the table are long but its worth waiting. Uoshin stands for freshness - the most important thing when eating sushi or sashimi

This hidden place in the heart of Tokyo (best found from exit 3 of Nogizaka station) offers a range of fresh sushi and sashimi and a very lively atmosphere. Make a reservation if you don't want to wail till 10pm until a table is free...
They have other restaurants as well, they are worth going to as well since they all get the fresh fish direktly from the tsukishi market. Probably one of the best price for quality that you can get in central tokyo
