“small, yet good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The room is clean, staff are helpful and Wi-Fi for room is provided. It was a last minute trip and it's my first time to Japan. The Wi-Fi in the room was very good and hence a lot of planning for the trip was done in the room and via seeking for help at the concierge counter. The staff generally are able to speak & understand simple English.
The room is small, yet it had it all! All you need are in the room, the only thing is you... You might want to consider to bring small luggage, as the room is not big enough for you to put your big luggage.
The hotel is situation in an area with plenty of eateries.
It's just a 3 minutes walk to the Daimon Station & 7 minutes walk to Hamamtsucho.
The stations are between Ginza & Shinjuku area.
Overall, thumbs up for this hotel.
4 out of 5 stars, is because of the size of the room.

If you are flying in and our of Haneda, this hotel is a short walk to the Tokyo Monorail. Also very close to the Metro Daimon station - two subways lines A and E. The rooms are small but fairly clean. Beds and pilows are firm. Yukata's as well, There is sufficient lighting. There is a small ref, electric kettle with tea and coffee. There is also 24 hr coffee machine with good coffee in the lobby. Bathroom is clean and adequate. Wi-fi is free but you need to ask for a plug-in router which sometimes runs out. Only one elevator but only gets busy mornings between 9 and 11. Staff is courteous but speaks limited Engish. Hotel is walking distance to Tokyo Tower and Zensoji temple. There are convenience stores, small restaurants and cafe's within a three block radius. Surrounding streets get pretty quiet and deserted at night but is safe to walk about. If I was flying in and out of Haneda, I would stay here again. Value for what you pay - works for me.

Hotel Mystays is clean and has good service, but I would not recommend it as anything beyond a transit point. Even though it is located very close to the subway/monorail for Tokyo Haneda and Narita airport; the location lacks charm. It feels like a gritty area on the outskirts. If you are planning to use this as your base to explore Tokyo, look elsewhere. Getting from the hotel to some of the more tourist-friendly spots, such as Ginza, Roppongi, Shinjuku etc will require a fair amount of public transport transfers. The hotel rooms are tiny, as can be expected of Tokyo, and they only have a limited number of wifi routers available (you have to request them at reception). If you're out of luck, you won't get one. For about 150 USd per night, you could do better.

I love staying at MyStays Hamamatsucho due its excellent location, very close to Daimon subway, JR Hamamatsucho train station and monorail to Haneda airport. The environment is nice, you can spot nice cafes and restaurants, offfice buildings, family mart and other supermarkets, and Japanese fast food chain like Yoshinoya etc. It's a distance walk from Tokyo Tower.
The room is tiny, Japan standard, so it's not really suitable for you who always bring big luggage when travels, and it really worth the price The staff is helpful and speaks English well. You get free coffee all day (located in the lobby and the coffee is good).

We stayed at mystays Hamamatsu for 5 days.
The location is good and next to the daimod station but the room was small and tiny but for the price we paid it was what I expected.
I recommend this hotel to those who want to explore the city and come back just to sleep.
Enjoy!

We stayed here for one night as it was closeby Hamamatsucho Station, one station away from Shinagawa Station where our Shinkansen rapid train departed at 8.40am for Kyoto.

We had stayed 5 nights at MyStays Asakusa-bashi and loved it but thought it best to change hotels as we had large suitcases and guessed it may be a problem trying to get across Tokyo in the morning peak hour.

The non-smoking double room was good but quite small and about $AD30 more than MyStays Asakusa-bashi. We were able to walk to Tokyo Tower.

Like many people I just assumed that most rapid long distance trains leave from Hamamatsucho. They don't. Check the train timetables online first then book your hotel. Shinagawa Mystays for us would have been a better option both for location and price.

Excellent location, close to Daimon subway, JR Hamamatsucho train station and monorail to Haneda airport. Room very clean and tidy. Helpful staffs. Next to Family Mart. Great value of money. Reasonable size for Tokyo.
