“Love the architecture and museum shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

A lovely modern museum with a nice cafeteria and shop which will entertain any design nut. The architecture of the place is also interesting.

Located in the triangle art cluster between Design Sight at Tokyo Midtown and the Mori Art Museum at Roppongi Hills. A definite must-see for those who love looking at architecture, design and art when on holidays.

“Worth visiting for the architecture alone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

Love this place and a very easy walk from Roppongi and Akasaka. 5 minutes from Tokyo Midtown and adjacent subway.

Changing exhibitions and reasonable entry charges.

“it all depends on the exhibition...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

When we visited, almost all of the museum's exhibition space was devoted to the entries in an international high school student art competition. Some of the entries (the calligraphy winners) were worth looking at, but the vast majority would be primarily of interest to the families of entrants. The museum space itself is beautiful, and the gift shop had a bunch of interesting items.
