“Small Rooms but did the job!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

We got 2 rooms for a family of 4
Clean, comfy and well organized rooms. Had everything we needed including a convenience store in the ground floor. But you could hardly move as the rooms are Oh so small! But if you're budget conscious and want a clean hotel in Tokyo, this is as good as it gets. Perfect for an overnight stay.

The entrance of the hotel is not big/eye-catching and it is a bit difficult to spot, not until I walked pass there 3 times. Pay attention when you need to find it as it is just in-between restaurants and shops next to it. Location is convenient, just a few minutes walk straight down the shopping street on the right of the JR Shimbashi station. Room, unit bath, everything is compact while space for wholly opening up the standard suitcase is not available, but still good enough for short stay. My room got a window down to floor which was good because sunlight shining in and you wouldn't feel the space making you stressed. The door of the bathroom is glass, which is convenient for single guest peeping on the screen of the TV from the bathroom from time to time. Actually there's a screen/curtain which is a design out of consideration that you can slide it down if you are using the bathroom to create some privacy. My package did not come with any breakfast but it is unnecessary to worry about food in Shimbashi in Tokyo. The lobby is also linked to a convenience store on the ground floor, which is great if you need something quick. It's compact, but will stay again.

Here for business trip. Smallish room but well kept & had thoughtful touches throughout.

Loved the bed - it's comfy, soft but firm enough. Two pillows - 1 flat one with beads that kinda help confirm to your head for those who sleep flat. Or a bigger puffy one for side sleepers.

For the same price, I had a room with a better layout & unobstructed view of the area than my female colleague who had a smallish room on the ladies' floor.

The bathroom has a glass door that doesn't have any privacy options, this it's really meant for one person. Another nice touch as it doesn't make u feel so confined.

Breakfast is limited to Set A (perfectly toasted bread with egg mayo) or Set B (a lighter thin white bread with Jap cucumber & stuff) + nicely boiled egg. Nice touch of options of iced/hot coffee or tea.

Best of all, this area has LOTS of eateries to discover, being near the business area. Some naughty night entertainment around, but feels more posh than other areas. Overall, this area is a business/salaryman's playground!

Service staff are polite. Doesn't speak much English but they do try, as most Japanese service staff do.

Paid about USD$130 / S$170 a night but it is probably a corporate rate.

Will stay again if I get a similar room. :)

Tiny, very small room, but enough to stay over night and sleep well. 120cm-width bed, compact bathroom, and free Wi-Fi.
Hotel is located walking distance from Shinbashi Station. No restaurant in the hotel, but the convenience store is next to registration, and a coffee shop on the 2nd floor. Many restaurants, pubs and "Izakaya" are around the hotel.

And now the typhoon is about to come to Tokyo! Wow

For anyone coming to Tokyo, for business or pleasure as a gang of boys or girls, this hotel provides the most perfect location. Situated near the Shimbashi Station gives a traveler access to anywhere in Tokyo. Suddenly, The SkyTree, Shinjuku and Disneyland don't seem so far. Rooms are very tiny, but the level of cleanliness and high speed internet, made my stay worth every bit spent on it. With my office being a 10 minute walk away, it makes a lot of sense for me to be staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the higher floors. It offers a better view.

Great hotel for a first-time stay in Tokyo. It is a few minutes walk to the Shimbashi subway station which takes you wherever you want to go and there are great little restaurants and shops around the area.

For the US travellers like ourselves: please know that these hotel rooms, like many others in Tokyo, are very small compared to the ones in America or their counterparts in Tokyo. View the photos to get an idea of how small they are. It is not a big deal if you are expecting it which we were, but I have already seen poor reviews on TA about the size of the rooms and beds.

I found this hotel to be wonderful. The staff was very helpful even though it was difficult to communicate. They assisted us in finding a bakery and where we needed to go to get to a famous temple. The lobby is simple, clean
, and contemperary. There are two laptop computers with wi-fi and a printer right near the check-in desk. They do not offer wi-fi in the lobby, nor in the rooms. This made us sad because it was difficult to research and get around Tokyo without it. The toilets are awesome and we can't wait to purchase one for our own home! You will see what I mean (music, bidet, shower, warmer, and pressure changer).

The best part of this hotel is that there is a Lawson's (like a 7 Eleven) attached to it. You can access it through the lobby or off the street and they have snacks, sushi, toiletries, etc. for your convenience.

We enjoyed staying here, although next time we will think a hotel that offers wi-fi.

But, we have a good news to you. Now, we prepare to use the wi-fi at our hotel.
So, when you stay our hotel next time, you can use it.

Second, we had a bad news.
Now, Lawson is closing for renewal open.
We happy to recieve a great comment about Lawson from you.

Finally, our all staff member cannot speak well.
But, we try to improve our English.

If you have a chance to come to Tokyo, please stay our hotel.

I would usually chose this hotel for short business trips. Situated in the proximity of Shimbashi station area where my office is, the hotel gives great value.
