“Descent ….could be better!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

Stayed there for 7 days in April 2013. Location is Great. In Ginza where all shopping takes place. Very close to Kabuki Theater and train stations (Shibashi, Ginza)
Staff was friendly and eager to assist but their English were poor.
Great to have wifi access in the room and public areas.
Standard rooms are relatively small for western standards with no wardrobes in them.
Price reasonable for Japan but definitely not a value for money compared to similar properties in other countries

Room Tip: Upgrade to a bigger room. Standard is too small for westerners

Stayed at the Hotel Gracery for 5 nights at the end of April. The hotel is nice. Friendly staff who have a good grasp of English, very quiet rooms, and an excellent location. One of the downfalls is that the wifi was a little slow even though the hub was right outside my room. Regardless a nice stay.

The hotel is perfectly located, right off the main shopping street in Ginza, sorounded by shops and restaurants. It is 3-4 min walk to the metro station, and 1 metro station away from Kyoto Station. I found the location very conveninent for my 5 day stay in Tokyo (vacation).
I really loved the hotel, new, modern, great service. It has a nice lobby (have not seen this in 2 other hotels I have stayed in) and complementary coffee/tea. Room was small, as expected in Japan, but quiet, also free wifi in the room . I stayed 4 nights, and should I go back to Tokyo I would stay there again.

If you're in Tokyo and want to go shopping in Ginza, dining at Tsukiji, and want to be near Tokyo station, this is a great choice.

I have stayed at the Conrad, and Hotel Villa Fountaine Shiodome, which are both near this hotel. While this is nowhere as ritzy as the Conrad, it is in a better location than both the Conrad and HVF. For the price of 8k yen a night, this is a steal.

The rooms are a bit small and the corners of my room are a little dirty, but other than that, this is a great hotel to stay if you plan on staying in the Ginza area. Be subtle and ask about room upgrades - while the placard at check-in indicate a charge of 1k yen, I was able to get it for free.

There is free in room wifi, but no in room safe. Expect few amenities in room as this is a budget hotel.

Traveled alone. Checked in late at 8pm. Room was waiting.

Staff member was very efficient and spoke English which helped a lot. Smiling and did not make me feel awkward.

Room on the 11th floor. Good view of the city. Morning sun so leave the shutters down if you do not want to be woken up at 7 am with the sun in your face. Everything was in order and there was nothing to complain about the room.

If you are traveling alone or as a couple, this would be the prefect hotel as a base to explore Tokyo. Not too awesome for families as the room is a little small. Might be because I booked as a single occupant.

Smack bang in the middle of the Ginza shopping district. From the airport, take the Airport Limosine to Courtyard by Marriot. Hotel is just a couple of blocks away. Look for "LION" beer hall, the hotel is just behind that.

Tsukiji Fish Market is just a 10 min walk away. Ginza station is a 5 min walk away if you walk SLOWLY. The Ginza line takes you to Nihombashi, Ueno, Asakusa. There's your 2 days of shopping/sightseeing.

First time stayed in ginza, found this hotel and the location is very central just behind matsuzakaya dept store, near to family mart convinience store, near to the subway, even a bit walk to JR

Lobby located in the third floor, internet lan and wifi is free, room is modern and flat tv, bath room with modern bath tub

I was stayed with my wife and 2 of the children, chose 2 twin rooms side by side

Airport limousine bus stop at jw marriott ginza a 100 meter away, connect to narita and haneda

The hotel is clean, modern and cozy

Easy for restaurants and travelling by subway too

Small but well set out. Very clean and good-sized bathroom by Tokyo standards (not one of those little cubicle bathrooms you often get in business hotels). Women's floor is great for solo travellers - very quiet. The location is great - a minute from Ginza shopping, easily accessible to multiple subway lines and simple to make your way there on the airport limousine bus.
Heaps of great restaurants and cafes nearby.
Breakfast is a good spread and icing on the cake is the organic individual filtered coffee sachet supplied daily in your room.
This is my second stay here. I'd definitely go back.

Room Tip: If you female, consider the women's floor. It's very peaceful
