love the location. puts you right in the Ningyo-cho district. Great food and local shopping. Take a walk to visit the seven luck shrines of Nihonbashi. Easy transportation from NRT airport to the Tokyo City Air Terminal

Dear Brian H,
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Royal Park Hotel.
Yes, we are located right in the middle of the Nihonbashi area where traditional Japan is within walking distance.
And yes, the Tokyo City Air Terminal next door is a airport bus terminal where you can catch a bus to Narita airport every 10 to 15 minutes, and every 15 to 20 minutes to Haneda Airport.
We certainly look forward to welcoming you back to the Royal Park Hotel soon.
Thank you again for the review.

Have stayed many times at the Royal Park Hotel, and every time I am met with a smiling face in the reception. The hospitality is great and beds are very nice. Some rooms are though a bit "tired" however still good value for money. Especially I love the breakfast at the 20th floor, where you can sit and enjoy a nice breakfast with a perfect view of the city

Posh hotel thus expensive

PROS
-------
Located literally over a metro station. Time from room to metro < 3 min
Taxi rank outside the hotel
Huge selection of restaurants within 5 min walk max
5-6 restaurants in the hotel
Nice breakfast quality and selection (although not the best I've had). You can also have sushi-style breakfast
Staff can speak great english
Staff has great manners
Staff very helpful with all kinds of requests (even for an umbrella!)
Very well lit and safe area to walk in
Room huge for japanese standards, equal to a Marriott or Intercontinental room
All kinds of amenities in the room (several pillows, free wifi, complimentary toiletry)
4 lifts so you never wait for more than a couple of minutes, even in busy hours
Free drinks and snacks for executive room guests for several hours each day (on the 16th floor lobby)
Great view from executive guests breakfast area (19th floor I think)
ATMs in the main lobby
Bus station from/to Narita airport opposite the hotel

CONS
-------
Hotel can get very busy, so twice I was told that there is no free seat for breakfast and that I had to wait. It was on New Year's Eve and New Year's day. I know, busy period, but still unacceptable

Room Tip: If you can afford it, get and executive room. You get many free pluses with that

The hotel is a perfect choice for travellers as it is situated near TCAT (direct bus service from Narita) and Suitengumae station. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very nice and extremely helpful but u might face some problem communicating in English. Breakfast is wonderful. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to going there again.

Room Tip: Prefer rooms on higher floors

Location is great near bus station for Airport but room price is a way too high
For this price you would expect to get more but every thing cost more
- GYM / POOL / SAUNA / Breakfest - each cost more ~ 2.5K yen extra
- In the lobby you have nice coffee shop and resturants but if you want just to sit taliking to someone only 4 arm chairs and 2 sofa (total max 6-7 ppl. can be sitted in Lobby and not in one of the coffee shop or resturant (and in the coffee shop even a Jappnise firend told me the price of the coffee is exaggerated - but since I paiy he didn't mind).

Sum all the above -> you can get much better deal in the same area.

Great location and comfortable for business travelers. This was my second trip to Tokyo and it is on my list of top / best places to work / visit. I highly recommend the executive floor. One urgent consideration for Royal Park is to expand food choices with lower prices. The cost of dining in the hotel is prohibitive; it is extremely expensive and the value is not commensurate with what is charged. This would enhance all this fine hotel has to offer. Breakfast is wonderful so keep that up!

Room Tip: Twin beds are a good choice for travel with a family member (son, daughter) as the bed is larger tha...

Executive floor was all well organised with Japanese hospitality, parfect choise for business and private travelors from abroad, excellent access to T-CAT (bus station attached to the hotel where frequent services are available from /to Narita airport). Non smoking Queen Bed room was spacious enough with clean, also enjoyed Japanese style bath room at Spa. Breakfast restaurant at 20th floor gave us a good western style of food with view. Hakozaki (where the hotel locates) is not in the city centre but instead has a quiet down town (shita-machi) atmosphere. In fact it had easier access to Ginza, Tsukiji, Asaksa and most of other polular places by Tokyo Metro. Myself (Japanese) and my colleague (non Japanese) both appreciated lots of hospitalities during the stay.
