“A great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

That's a wonderful place in the heart of Tokyo. Great rooms, free internet and wifi around the hotel, direct access to underground, perfect sound isolation. Very good breakfast, nice restaurants. Wonderful toiletries, very helpful staff... Did I miss something? I really enjoyed three days there.

This is my hotel of choice when on business in Tokyo. Right next door to the TCAT means travel to and from the airport is a breeze. Rooms well appointed and exec floor lounge very good. Staff helpful and efficient. Prices are typical of the upper end for Tokyo which is never cheap. Easy walking distance to a number of restaurants catering for most tastes, I have walked to the Imperial Palace from here but it was a looong way. Breakfast i have only taken on the upper floors, which was always quick and tasty, although doesnt start in time for those really early morning flight transfers. Been in three earthquakes whilst staying here over the years so can vouch for the fact its well built! Only two downsides ever encountered was if you arrive early morning from the airport quite often no rooms will be free, and you will have to wait a few hours, hotel does its best but it can be a pain. Also they stopped putting the really nice bath soap in the plastic boxes into the rooms, wife was always very keen on those. Overall convenient and nice hotel, i like it.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. They have a swimming pool on the 5th floor that can be used by all guests which we thoroughly enjoyed. There's also the option to get massages, your nails done, your hair and make up done and to have a wedding here. The rooms are large, clean and decorated in the timeless 'expensive hotel' style (not modern, though). The staff are friendly and very helpful. Best of all was the free loan laptop we got to use. Most other hotels charge you for that. The hotel also as a few restaurants, but we did not try any of them. There is also a peaceful tea garden.
The location of the hotel is good; in the basement is the Suitengumae subway station, from where you can take the train to, among other places, Shibuya. Very close is the Ningyouchou station, from where you can go to Ginza and Ueno/Asakusa. The neighbourhood is very nice, there's plenty of places to eat, sing karaoke or have some good food. Nearby is Amazaka Yokocho, a street with lots of traditional shops.

I stayed here for a week while on a business trip to Japan , its a really nice very Japanese styled hotel.
Little different that typical 5 star hotels like Hyatt or Hilton , but I loved it. Its a little expensive

The staff here is really friendly and helpful , would love to stay here again

Really good location good connectivity form Narita \ Henada Airport , there is a substation right next to it.

This hotel is a real 5 star hotel, amazingly friendly staff, perfect rooms, very nice restaurants and bars. Happy hour in bar in basement recommended. Breakfast is very expensive, but in one of the nice restaurants in the hotel and from very good quality. If you enjoy a good long breakfast then you will enjoy. Hotel is directly connected to airport via bus calle 'Airport Limousine', remember to buy directly a retourn ticket to save 20%. Underground is directly accessible, so even for tourists the hotel is not bad located. If you expect to stay mkre often then ask for the loyalty program, it is not so well anniunced but is a well structured program.

Room Tip: As high as possible

The Royal Park is a very good hotel, the only reason I do not give it 5 stars was the bed, I like a firm mattress, however this was like sleeping on a rock. That being said the rest of my stay was enjoyable. The room was super clean. The bathroom was large and clean, it had booth a separate shower and tub. The room was well maintained. The staff is super friendly and was always there to help. The restaurant is top notch, serving both Japanese and western dishes. It is located close to the Tokyo city airport terminal so transportation is easy to pick up. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting Tokyo.

Room Tip: Take the bus from the airport to the City terminal- Roal Park is right next door
