“Good location in Ginza District”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

The Hotel is located in the Ginza district, just 2 Streets away from the main shopping district streets with lots of High-Fashion brands.

I had a room on the top floors to the back of the hotel, so street noise was next to zero. The room itself is smaller than in Europe, but still at a decent size. My room rate also included a free ticket for the Tokyo Sky Tree.

Breakfast ist a mixture between Asian and American Styles, but with everything you need. Even if you come at the last minute, the staff is still friendly and prepare fresh Omletts for you.

If you want to travle by underground/subway in Tokyo, but the Pasmo Card at one of the maschines. It is a prepaid card, which you can use for Taxi, Subway, vending maschines (not all) or in grocery stores. You can charge as much money on it as you like. Very convenient.....

Wonderful location. Staff went out their way to be helpful. Always pleasant calm atmosphere. Breakfast was really worth the cost ate in hotel one night in japanese restaurant and it was fun. Staff explained every dish to us and the sake was great

Room Tip: Higher floors quieter and we were surprised at good size of rooms

Pretty close to Higashi-Ginza and Ginza subway station, there is subway from Haneda airport to Higashi Ginza station. Breakfast was really nice, variety of food and clean. Only 5 mins walk to Ginza St. I will go back there again

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The Concierge, Marina, was fantastic. She made reservations for us, gave us directions and helpful hints about where we wanted to go and she translated for us, acted as a go between with some distant relatives who live in Tokyo. The only downside was the fact that the hotel has no handicapped rooms. It was impossible for me to get in the very deep bathtub to take a shower! Housekeeping tried to construct a stool out of a box but it just didn't work. The only walk in showers are apparently in the expensive suites, we just could not afford 200 yen more per night. I appreciated their trying to help me. The breakfast was outstanding as were the lunch and dinner buffets.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It's easy to reach from Narita via the orange airport limo bus, which stops right at the front door. The staff was very pleasant, and gave us good recommendations for local restaurants. We wanted to attend the tuna auction at the Tsukiji Market, which requires getting there around 3:30 AM. We were a bit worried about getting lost on a back street in the dark! But the front desk gave us good directions, the streets were very safe, and we walked only about 10-minutes straight to the tour office door. The hotel is close to several subway stations, and great shopping in the Ginza district. There's also a Lawson (convenience) store and a Tully's Coffee less than a block away. Our room was very nice. It wasn't large, and it didn't have an outstanding view, but we didn't care. We were too exhausted from touring Tokyo to look out the window! If room size and view are important to you, be sure to request that in advance. Otherwise, the bed was very comfortable, there was a coffee pot in the room, and the bathroom was nicely appointed with a deep soaking tub, bidet, hairdryer, and an assortment of toiletries (including toothbrush, the kind of things you often forget to pack). We would definitely stay there again.

I stay several times during past2-3 years, this hotel is good for business trip as its located in central Ginza. We can reach all most popular shops around Ginza by walking.
HOtel staff is charming and helpful, from and to airport is easy by airport bus (good ticket price).
Lobby is very narrow for Marriott class hotel, same with the room. But again for your business this hotel is okay..

Stayed here with my wife on a 2 week business trip. It had all the amenities that I have come to expect of a Marriott property. Clean and we'll maintained with a very friendly and helpful staff. Worth a visit.
