We visited K´shiki on the 38th floor of Tokyo's Mandarin Oriental with friends early December on a Sunday evening and were delighted:
- Great views over the city in a truly elegant and well designed setting. If you want to make a reservation make sure you book a table near the windows - it is absolutely worthwhile!
- Great food: We ordered a tasting menu with lots of different dishes and recipes, all very well prepared, to the point and absolutely tasty. The absolute highlight was one of the dishes on the starter plate: A carrot panacotta! I never had such a tasty version of carrots in my entire life!!!
- Great service: Very attentive and discrete, and yet very quick and efficient!
- Great ambiente: As described above: If you want to dine in a very elegant setting with loads of elegant people around you - this is the place: Absolutely posh!
