“Excellent hotel conveniently situated”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful modern hotel with great furniture and fittings. Even better is the fact that it is situated in the same building as our Tokyo office, with a connection via the 15th floor of the hotel to the office tower. Breakfast is as good as you would expect from a hotel of this standard, we were only staying for two nights so didn't get to eat any other meals in the hotel itself, although we did have a couple of night caps in the bar which has a cool funky feel to it in keeping with the rest of the hotel (unfortunately last orders are at 11.30). There are also some decent restaurants and English/Irish pubs in close proximity.

If you need to choose one of the numerous 5star hotels in Tokio, you should definitely try this new establishment. Equipped with cutting edge appliances (and, as we all love it about Japan, especially the smart toilet seats with more buttons and remote control options than an iphone), great views over the park and the city behind the park. Spacious rooms, stylish design of rooms and shared premises, nice staff and delicious a la carte breakfasts. Tube station is located right in the basement. A little bit far from the main attractions if you are visiting Tokio for sightseeing purposes, but come on - it is such a big city anyway.

Stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be wonderful. The rooms are spacious and interestingly designed with lots of amenities. The views are quite nice as well. Ate a number of meals in the hotel and found the food to also be of excellent quality and for times when less was needed, there is a 7/11 on the lower level that has an astounding assortment of food items for takeout. Excellent lap pool as well.

Excellent location with easy access to metro. Beautiful room with great views and a bathroom like I have never seen. Very friendly and polite staff.
Reception area very small. You felt more like you were living in a convention centre. Too public.

We stayed in the Capitol Hotel 4 nights (including new year´s eve) and all what we can say is that we would come back to that hotel if we go to Tokyo again.

Wonderful room, nice location (direct access from the hotel to 2 lines of the metro, walking distance from restaurants area, next to a lovely shrine....), very good service (they were really helpful with reservations before traveling to Tokyo, which is highly appreciated if you do not speak Japanese).

For sure we recommend it!!

Room Tip: We had a room looking the Shrine and you get nice views of the city!
