“Great Food, Superb Service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

My first time at the La Brasserie and I was not disappointed! On the contrary, the dining experience was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service impeccable! The dessert was beautifully prepared in front of us and it was fabulous!

“Adequate service with decent food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Service was okay, but expected someone to come and brush away the bread crumbs from my area for dessert and coffee. No one did. Food is good. The bread not so. Expected the bread to be warm and soft. However, the avocado with crab meat appetizer was delicious, but a bit salty for me. I needed the bread. The beef stew was very nice and tender. Not bad, but I have been to better places.

“Phenomenal Alsatian/French Cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

We have been going to La Brasserie since the early 1990s and it has never disappointed. Attentive white-glove service, soothing atmosphere even when crowded, and, of course, excellent meals.

Out most recent trip involved taking, for the first time, a toddler. Fortunately, she was well-behaved. We - four adults and the little one - ordered specials from the lunch menu. The highlight was the white fish (forgive me for forgetting its name) with butter sauce. My wife is too civilized a woman to lick her plate in public but used a bit of bread to sop up the remainder of the rich sauce. Our toddler had a plate of sauteed vegetables which was so well-prepared and appetizing she actually finished most of it.

The desserts - custard, tarts, almond cake - were a perfect finish to a leisurely lunch.

If you're ever in the vicinity of the Imperial Hotel, visit the underground shopping arcade in the hotel tower and make your way to La Brasserie. It's well worth the trip.

“crepes suzettes a must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

Lovely meal, great service, but I'm really writing this review to recommend the crepes suzettes for two. Not only were they delicious, but the delivery is a performance in itself.

Best French food you'll find outside of Europe. And the service is impeccable.
