Booked a birthday meal for 7 adults and 2 children for 4pm Sunday high tea. Arrived at 3:55 to find door locked. Opened at 4 exactly. 5 mins after sitting down, while still waiting for our drinks order to be completely delivered, we were asked by the lady owner for our food choices. When we asked if we could have a couple of minutes to decide, we were told 'no'. they were going to be busy and needed to hurry up. Great confusion about high tea menu. When meal was booked we were told £8.95 per adult and £3.50 per child. Presented with two high team menus and told the previously quoted on was for half portions, full portions to be had on the much more expensive menu. All that aside though, the totally worst thing about the whole visit was the rude attitude and behaviour of the owner. When I raised my concerns, she basically blamed us, a couple of the party had arrived 5 mins after the inital guests and this, according to her, caused the problem. The ONLY problem was her attitiude and total lack of customer care and service. I will NEVER be back, not even if I am invited by someone else, and I will be sharing my opinion.
