“Excellent family run hotel in centre of Campos-fantastic warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Second stay at Hotel Segles and fully intend on going back next year !!!!! Received such a warm welcome again from the two sisters who run the hotel and felt "part of the family" which was fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble for them and their staff .Ideal base to explore the many lovely locations close by including the beautiful Es Trenc beach. Hotel Segles is a wonderful place and such a treasure in the pretty town of Campos. Looking forward to returning very soon. Thankyou

We spent 6 nights here this month.
On a plus side it was mainly quiet, apart from the 2 evenings when there was live music but these ened by 1am
Our superior roon was comfortable yet smaller than we expected with glass doors to the jacuzzi bathroom.
the 2 Maria's were very friendly and really helpful when I left my handbag in the taxi from the airport. The hours they work are long, yet this does not affect the service offered. The breakfast was fine but we were craving something hot whilst there apart from the weather.
The maid was very friendly and thorough and although we may stay again we would have to have a car as we were quite cut off and the bus service a bit sporadic.
Overall a nice break but being a townie I was glad to get home.

We have been stayed at Hotel Segles every year since 2008. Why do we keep going back?

1. The hospitality of the two sisters who run the hotel (and the other staff) is unbeatable.
2. The quality and cleanliness of the rooms are never less than excellent, and the hotel, while of modest size (an attraction in itself) is full of character (it mixes a traditional feel, including a restful courtyard seating area, with contemporary amenities, including modern bathrooms and even a hidden swimming pool).
3. The town of Campos has a pleasant local atmosphere - make sure you visit Pomar for a palmera de chocolate - and is very well located for es Trenc beach, other Santanyi locations and is only about half an hour from Palma. If the weather is cooler, there are many cycling routes signposted on the rural roads nearby and a good cycle hire shop in Campos.

If you want to escape from the tourist hoards and spend a relaxing time in the company of friendly hosts, who genuinely care that you have a good time, you have found the perfect place.

Just returned from a really enjoyable and relaxing holiday staying, on recommendation, at this small, very Spanish hotel and thought it was excellent! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was lovely with a large bathroom with both shower and separate bath. It was all kept spotless with towel changes every day. We chose to breakfast late each day but there was still a wide choice of food with cold meats, eggs, cheeses, lots of fruit, cereal, yoghurts, croissants, ensamadas, variety of cakes, coffees, teas and fresh orange juice. This was taken outside under sun shades in the attractive central courtyard. Light lunches, hot and cold drinks and evening meals are also available and ideal if you don't want to venture far.

There are two large sun patio areas with lounger, sun shades, tables and chairs accessable from the bedrooms and also a lovely indoor pool/ shower area.

The town of Campos is quiet but has an excellent Saturday market and is very central for all the South East small towns, resorts and beaches so there is ample choice for eating out or for days out exploring the beautiful coves and Es Trenc beach. Cala D'or, Cala Figuera, Porto Petra, Porto Colom, and Santanyi are all within very easy reach and Palma is approx. half an hour away so lots of variety.

We want to thank both Marias for a lovely stay and hope to return when we can. This is an ideal hotel for travellers that don't want to feel anonymous and who welcome good hospitality and a feel of the local area. If you want an all inclusive, modern, plastic hotel in a big tourist area this is definitely not for you!

Okay, this hotel is not luxury, but it is one of those lovely small and friendly places where you can relax, escape from everything, and enjoy a simple home from home atmosphere. We chose this hotel based on the comments made here, and were not disappointed. It is true that the food available is basic, and the breakfast is also very limited,(consists of some fantastic homemade croissants, but apart from these just toast, 3 types of jam,a selection of fruit, and a few slices of ham). But, it has to be said that there are few hotels with staff as friendly and adaptable as you find in Hotel Segles, and the cleanliness is impeccable - they cleaned our rooms and changed our towels every day during our 4 day stay. The location is in the middle of a village which has very little activity or movement apart from the market on Saturdays, but it is a nice and pleasant base if you're not the typical tourist that just wants to stay in their hotel all day. The interior terrace is pleasant, and when there is good weather, the indoor (unheated) pool and jacuzzi is a nice/unexpected extra for such a small hotel such as Segles. A lovely, simple, and cosy hotel, with good sized, extremely clean, and comfortable rooms. Recommendable.

We were touring the island off-season and found accommodation surprisingly difficult to come by (unlike mainland Spain). Hotel Segles was excellent, The Owners friendly and helpful and the rooms very good. Being off-season we were offered an up-grade to a room with patio balcony and jacuzzi. The location is handy for a short drive to any of the several beaches, calas and harbours and it is a swift 20 minute drive to the airport.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back may be quieter

Strategically located 10 minutes from best beach in Mallorca "ES TRENC" this family runned hotel is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
Only 8 rooms above a typical 'Mallorquin' patio, friendly service with delicious breakfast, nice rooms with 'old style' furniture.
Campos is a quiet and ancient village, with all main services as pharmacy, restaurants and bars, gas station.
