“Another Great Visit”

We have stayed in this hotel on several occasions and it continues to offer very good service and facilities - what is so good is that they deliver their service consistently whatever the time of year. Staff were attentive and very helpful. For us the location is great and we will definitely be returning

Very good hotel with plenty of facilities including Spa and swimming pool.
Staff very attentive and helpful.Excellent Cocktail Bar Man by the name of Nino, a real asset to the hotel.
Formal meals with a daily changing menu in the restaurant and bar snacks also available.
Well placed for the seaside resorts of Guardamar and Torreveja.
Rooms and en-suite bathrooms scrupiously cleaned every day and towels and bedding changed daily to.
Fridge,Safe and Wi-Fi,all free, available in bedrooms.
Golf can be arranged.
Good car parking which is shaded from the Sun by a canopy

Room Tip: Ask for a twin room and you get two metre wide beds butted up together.

My wife and myself booked into La Laguna for a 10 day break .Starting the 10th of October 2013 On the second day i had an accident , catching my foot on the stairwell causing me to have 13 stitches underneath my big toe ,a serious cut caused by the sharpness of the stairwell join .My complaint is that my wife tried to get someone to attend me at the opposite end to reception ,they gave her a plaster !!, blood was everywhere , she went back to reception and they eventually got me an ambulance , i was in the clinic there until 9.30pm where i was well looked after . On arrival at the hotel there was no compassion , i asked to be moved closer to the front of the hotel which they did but did not help to carry suitcases , for 8 days i could not shower ,swim or go to the beach . Holiday was ruined . Wake up la laguna you need first aid and a first aider on site . you could and should have done so much more . There is more to hospitality than just taking money . DISAPPOINTED

We regret the unfortunate accident which had conditioned your holidays. The unfortunate accident was not the fault of the hotel , or our stairs , the reason for the cut in your foot was your shoe ( sandal ) The wound was made ​​it by your sandal tape. This is written in the medical report that we delivered to the hotel.
Since the beginning our staff looked after you, we were concerned and we who warned the doctor who had a first class service as you deserve .
When you reached the Hotel, we were to watch you , while we who offered you closer to Reception and stayed in a Junior Suite. You enjoyed an up-grade ( for free ) when I had booked a double room , courtesy of La Laguna . We also had courtesies during your stay at no charge to you.
Therefore, we feel sorry for the criticism that we write . When really we were very aware of you at all times , even through no fault of the hotel your accident .
We take care of our customers and so we did.

We stayed at La Laguna for 4 nights while visiting family who live in the area. The hotel is in a good location and there are a few local restaurants, banks and shops a couple of minutes walk away.

The positives are the public areas of the hotel, bar, restaurant and pool but for us the negative was the bedroom. Small room which definitely needs updating, no drawers for clothes which I find very strange, only a wardrobe which also had no drawers. TV with Spanish channels only on Digital and 2 English channels on Analogue but very poor quality. Wi-Fi in room quite good and there was a safe in the wardrobe. No tea/coffee making facilities in room which is very unusual and double bed was two twins pushed together! There was a fridge/mini bar, but this only contained one bottle of water so certainly not a mini bar and this was not working anyway!! Bathroom was acceptable and although the towels were changed every day, they definitely need to get some new ones as it was like using a piece of sandpaper and they were very grey!!

Breakfast in the morning was ok usual selection of bacon, eggs, cereal, cold meats and pastries. The fresh fruit was only melon with pineapple occasionally but all looked a bit tired, and a previous reviewer mentioned watered down orange juice which is definitely the case, have the orange juice in bottles it is much nicer.

Overall I would say this is a 3* hotel not a 4* and for a few nights it was ok but any longer would certainly not be for us!!

In relation to the amenities of the hotel there have changed towels, like beds bedspread that are made of plume and very warmed. The rooms are checked before be assigned. So we are sorry about this incident.

I stayed at La Laguna for my Fathers Birthday. They had previously visited the hotel so we decided to go back. The rooms are just what you need and the hotel facilities very good. The swimming pool, spa and bar/restaurant area were very nice.
The only improvement I could recommend would be the staff to be more attentive. I felt this more than once on different occasions. We dined in the restaurant on our first night, we ordered wine which was left on the table, not one glass was poured out so we had to serve it ourselves. All the glasses large and small were left on the table, to get the attention of the waiter was 'a problem'. When we went to the pool bar there was no welcome, and the same at breakfast. I had never been to the hotel so I expected them to say how it worked but we were just showed to the table and left to get on with it. I was never once offered a high chair at dinner or breakfast.
I must say 'Nino' who we met while at the bar is an asset to this hotel as his cheerful smile and laughing makes you want to return.
If you visit this hotel we found a lovely restaurant called the happy garden which is not to far and a delight of taste.

We have recently come back from La Laguna, it was a nice hotel with a lovely pool area, our room was clean and tidy, but was quite a way from reception, which was ok as long as you didn't forget anything, it's a bit like a maze to get in and out. The location is good, a 2 min walk to a few bars/restaurants.

We are delighted that you enjoyed our Mediterranean atmosphere that permeates the architecture of all the Hotel La Laguna Spa & Golf.

I do not understand very well what you says was lost in at Hotel. The Laguna has a very basic structure ,like an "L" where are all the rooms. So it is very easy to settle in it. We have just 32 rooms per floor spread over ground floor and two floors, so that the floors are not very extensive. In any case, you may request, subject to availability, room near reception (if that's your preference).

We are grateful for your stay in La Laguna and we hope to enjoy your company very soon.

Fantastic spa area massage ok! Hotel was great. The restaurant area roomy , great food also breakfast, Clean spacious. Staff helpful. Would recommend. When we arrived they was doing some work maintenance etc tiles gardening. Did not bother us at all no faults !!! @bebepetite
