“Awesome Italian in Spain :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2011

After an awful experience with Local Spanish food in Alicante we opted for Italian. What a great decision. My wife ate a lovely pear and goat cheese tortellini while i enjoyed every bite of my oven baked pizza. £28 for a filling dinner for with bread, a bottle of red wine and waters. We recommend this and its sister Restaurante Sale Pepe. And the waiter staff are so friendly you forget your in Spain...

“Nice little Italian -- good homemade food; friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2011

Everything seems homemade, including pasta and pasta sauces, and a nice range of delicious deserts. Very tasty. Located in the picturesque old town - definitely worth a visit.

“Great food, great service, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2010

This restaurant is great, varied menu, plenty of choice for all, including vegetarians. Our food was delicious, the service good, authentic italian food cooked to perfection. Can't wait to return for more.

“Do not go there”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2010

The food was terrible and the main course burned. The service poor, no intention to be helpful, even asked to go to the next restaurant instead of waiting for a table. Noisy place with street musicians begging for money. Not a place to recommend!

“Wonderfull”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2010

During our stopover in Alicante we visited this Italian Restaurant twice, for lunch and for dinner. The staff are great, so are the food and a good selection of wine, all reasonable priced. There are a lot of dishes to choose between, and the homemade bread were very tasty. We were seated and got a wine even we were there half an hour before there openingtimes (12.30 for lunch). One girl from the staff comes from Sardinia. Thanks to Svea and Veronica for there smiles. We spoke to the owner Massimo who told us, that he had 2 other places in Alicante (Sale & Pepper Pizzeria and 26 cafe lounge bar).
The best italian food we got during our 6 days stay to watch the Formula 1 streetrace in Valencia
