Trying to sell my friends/loved ones on the charms of an open-faced sandwich place for lunch/dinner wasn't the most easy task but once people have been here they're sold - we go at least a few times a week when in the area and have enjoyed every morsel. The salads are delicious - the tomato and tuna is wonderful as is the pear and chicken in particular. You also can't go wrong with the goats cheese salad. The "tostas" are big halves of ciabatta with various hot or cold toppings: we frequently have the steak and foie gras topped tosta and I'd recommend sharing. You can order 1 half or 2 halves for each type - recommend going for more varieties and just 1 half of each to share in a group. Staff are very friendly and don't speak heaps of english but try wholeheartedely. Sit in the garden for a charming sunny lunch or romantic dinner, inside is equally as atmospheric.
