“Cool Ambient Restaurant in VIC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

This is a small restaurant inskirts of VIC, in small bylanes. The Ambience is very warm and gives a very warm and nice feeling. The food is great. Even for Vegetraians, Salads and especially Cold Tomato Soup is really refreshing. Just go for it...............

“Superb Catalan cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

We visited on a week night, having found the restaurant on trip advisor.

Although the menu was only in Catalan, a member of staff was able to translate.

We chose from the fixed price menu, and the gazpacho was excellent. We followed this with the lamb, which was amazingly tender and full of flavour. For dessert we had creme Catalan, which was easily the best we have had.

The boys had steak and chips, and cleared their plates, saying how juicy it was! (medium).

It was certainly a classy meal, not cheap, but a great great at the end of our holiday.

“Gorgeous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

One the best restaurant I've ever been. The service has been outstanding and the food simply delicious. I am not a fan of elaborate plates, preferring to taste the quality of ingredients and their combination. Well in this case everything has been perfect!
Thanks and we will return.

“Fantastico - home cooking from Vic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

One of those 'just by chance' restaurants... I caught a glimpse of the garden of El Jardinet as
we wandered the streets of Vic waiting for shops to open in the afternoon.
The garden area in the back was so very pretty and cool on a HOT day.
What a delight! What an amazing gazpacho... and believe you me we've
tried a lot and made our own at home. Superlatives don't do this lunch justice.
It was so out of this world... Starter - that amazing Gazpacho, Main course including wine and water, dessert, coffee.
For two 32 euros.... forgive me but this was just out of this world delicious and
such great value.
We ordered in Spanish, but you could do it in Catalan or English or French.
Totally memorable and such a memorable meal and delightful service.

“Good food, wonderful service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

A true gem at the heart of the old city, close to the main square and the market. Quite indoor and garden sitting options, great dish selection on the daily lunch menu (18 euro on a saturday, 3 course meal + water and wine). My paella was really to die for... and everything else was very satisfying too. Nice decor, fit for romance or a friendly meal.
