We stayed here for two nights as part of a motorbike touring holiday. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very cosy family run hotel, that were not phased in the least at having four very hot, perspiring bikers turn up in their reception.
There was a very large, private and secure garage where we could leave the bikes. The rooms were very comfortable with dressing gowns and slippers and even a basket to take your bits up to the pool area. The pool was lovely with beautiful views over the lake. Reception had a table with free refreshments and nibbles. There was a covered veranda where you could take bar drinks and many cosy areas set up around the grounds, where individuals or groups could relax away from the other guests.
The best bit for me was the food. Most restaurants can only offer me have one or two choices that are gluten free (usually fish), so it was such a treat to go to a restaurant and have a lot of things on a menu to choose from. Stefano, the chef is part of the hotel's 'family' and has had extensive training in gluten/wheat free cooking and now trains other chefs in this field. Most things listed on his menu he could tweak to suit me, changing noodles to gluten free pasta etc. and they were heavenly. He even made bread rolls especially for me. He obviously takes a great deal of pride in his food and it was interesting to note how many locals also used the restaurant.
We would certainly go back again, but for longer. Thank you.
