We stayed here (husband and wife) in July 2007 and found it delightful. It is a small, very clean, personal and "old worldy" hotel. Service was professional, sincere and genuinely customer focused. Decor was a little dated but you had everything you needed (room bar, tv etc) - lovely pool and superb restaurant. Super value, we will definitely be back.

We spent 4 nights at this delightful hotel in Sale Marasino in late September. We had just come from a hectic 3 weeks touring in Italy and this was just what we needed.

It is a family run hotel and we could not fault the service or the ambience. We had a front lake view room which was very comfortable. We had the bed and breakfast rate which was very reasonable and we also ate in the dining room of the hotel each night. The meals were excellent as was the wine.

It is opposite Lake Iseo and we were lucky enough to have wonderful weather so we spent time exploring the lake using the public ferries and visiting Monte Isola where we had two delightful lunches at the various villages.

We did not have a car and used the train from Milano to Brescia and then changed to a smaller train to Sale Marasino. It took about 2 and a half hours altogether.

If you want to visit a beautiful lake that is not too touristy and stay at a lovely 4 star hotel, then this is the place for you.

Good small hotel in a great setting overlooking Lago iseo, one of the small lakes near lago Como, lago Guarda, north of Milano. Great terrace overlooking the lake. Able to have dinner on terrace. Good ambiance, helpful staff. Tasteful rooms, up to date bathrooms. Good value. Must have car.

We stayed at the Villa Kinzica for 2 nights. We had a family suite - 2 bedroom/2 bath. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Really listen to their restaurant recommendations! Take the boat and explore Monte Isola. Lake Iseo is really a treat!
