“Clean and Comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2010

I would call the location of Lemon Tree – “Ghaziabad”, more towards “ Delhi” than Ghaziabad, which is an advantage especially if you have to travel to Patpargunj, Mayur Vihar or Noida area.
As this was my first stay in the hotel, finding the hotel took a bit of time, as it is built in one portion of a mall called “East Delhi Mall” and for entering the hotel, one needs to walk down a few steps, then take the hotel’s private elevator to the reception on the 4th floor. However once you reach you would enjoy the stay. A nice lemony aroma greets you as you enter the lobby area. The rooms are on the 4th and 6th Floor and are nice and big with good ceiling height. Rooms are brand new and squeaky clean, well lit and surprisingly very quiet. The bathrooms are nice as well. They could do with a few additional toiletries though, which I found minimal. The hotel staff seemed very motivated and energetic lot who seemed to be well trained and eager to make one comfortable. The fitness centre is also nice and reasonably equipped. There is a terrace pool as well which is mini size and can be given a skip.
There is one restaurant “Citrus” which is open till 12 midnight and serves breakfast, lunch and of course dinner. The breakfast is good with lots of North Indian, South Indian dishes and a few international ones, including cold cuts. There is also a hot counter making eggs to order. The Buffet dinner was also reasonably priced and the spread, mostly Indian was very good. There were only two types of desserts one being vanilla icecream and the second one being “Maalpua” an Indian sweet. The maalpua was excellent though!.
I had actually ended up staying in Lemon Tree, Ghaziabad as my regular hotel was full, but I would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to business travelers as well as families and would certainly stay again. The price is reasonable as well and definitely good value for money.

Delhi is a city that has very few budget hotels that are safe, clean, with all amenities that are required by the business traveller.

Lemon tree, East Delhi is a great business hotel where every need is met and rates are not exorbitant.

The only draw back is that the hotel is on the outskirts of Delhi, in the East hence travelling to work each day can take quite a while, since Delhi traffic is nearly always very heavy.

The hotel is located inside a Mall, hence ones first reaction is fear of a lot of noise, however the noise does not reach the hotel premises or rooms

Staff are all young, efficient and helpful, catering to all requests

The coffee shop serves a very generous breakfast with lots of choice and has a decent menu for other meals.

The hotel has wifi and can arrange transport

Pretty much caters to all the needs of a business traveller and at very economical rates.

I am a regular traveler to Noida. I have been to a lot of Hotel in that vacinity. But at Lemon tree you feel safe, It fits your budget well.
Very helpful people, Best was It's attached to a Mall, so any time of the day you need an option on food you can step into the Mall. You would have people around shopping till late there so you feel that you are safe and secure, unlike other places in Noida/ Gaziabad.

The breakfast are very good. Recommend for a lot of people who make regular business trips to Noida.

I stayed in Lemon Tree during my trip to Delhi. It is a nice hotel with very good fooding. It is attached with the EDM mall which is a great place for shopping. Lots of shopping complexes are around this place. Room service is quite good and night life is also great.

I went there for a day in Oct 2010 for a few business meetings - thankfully after the CW games - the road from airport to the hotel is good and i actually got the hotel taxi fellow - i know it is expensive but gives me the peace in finding the hotel.

Rooms are very spacious and comfortable - they could have invested in a LCD TV - they have a cheap looking Samsung old type TV....that was a dampener.

The restaurant is splendid and the breakfast choice was excellent. Great value business hotel.

Special mention must go to your front desk Manager Mr. Kunal Gupta, he deserve to be rewarded with his ever ready to help & ensure the guests are well taken care. I will definitely or recommend my friends to stay in any of your Hotel if I were to re-visit India again. Your staff have certainly provide the comfort & feel save in India.
