“Stunning - old building with up to date 5 star rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Fabulous accommodation - building stunning and superior room of a very very high standard. Owner very friendly despite not that much english (she calls her daughter if she gets stuck!). Stayed one night and got to see all of the town which is also very attractive. Spanish style breakfast which included all the usual cold bits. We were worried about parking and dragging bags but actually got a spot just outside the wall so literally a 1 min walk to the accommodation.

The drive up blew us away before we even found the place. Our room was lovely and we found a really nice restaurant - Principles - to eat. (Twice). The ladies in the hotel were lovely, and the girl that did breakfast recommended local places to go. Altogether a very positive experience.

Stopped for one night on the way driving down to southern Spain. What a delightful hotel, traditional, but completely refurbished in contemporary and stylish way. Lovely bedroom, with great bathroom and top-end shower. Good breakfast - Spanish style, but with plenty of choice, friendly, helpful staff, couldn't fault this stylish hotel. Sos del Rey Catolico, certainly worth a visit, and surrounding countryside is stunning, with snow capped Pyrenees in the background.

We were lucky to spend a night in this lovely hotel in Aragon. Our room was very attractive and comfortable - beautifully furnished. The staff, especially Sarah, the receptionist, were delightful
and she did so much to ensure our stay was pleasant. She recommended a great restaurant for lunch and a walking tour of the town and the Palacio de Sadas. The hotel is the result of a beautiful renovation of an ancient house by the owners and it is an outstanding success. The house is decorated with impeccable taste. Sarah also served us a delicious and very comprehensive breakfast, one of the best we had in Europe in over 6 weeks.

Room Tip: We had an interior room facing a very small courtyard , but an outside one with a balcony would have...

Wonderful stopover between San Sebastián and the mountains. Nice to wander the old city, good for An evening. The hotel was first rate, spotless with wonderful breakfast . Don't hesitate to book! Take the side roads back for a real adventure!

Honestly I would not have changed a thing except maybe stayed a few more night. The hotel is beautifully remodeled into the old village structure yet masterfully combines the elements of the old and the new. The bathroom was excellent with a shower that worked well. The view from our balcony of the alleys in the village was incredible. The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. They directed us to a redone cathedral in Javier which was close by and did not even appear in our guidebook. The location is a bit remorse but there are many amazing day trips in the region. Would without a doubt stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful. The people were friendly and helpful! The rooms had wonderful views over the streets and alleyways . We would recommend a stay in this atmospheric hotel in the beautiful walked city!
