We stayed here in April and had a great time! The staff was friendly and allowed us to use the internet connection upstairs at the desk because the one in the room was not working. They also upgraded us to a junior suite for free upon our arrival, not that I have any idea why...but the suite was amazing, huge room, jacuzzi hot tub, balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea! There was a nice beach (a little rocky) and it was definitely warm enough to swim (we were unprepared because most travel sites said the weather would be in the low 70's, but it was much warmer and so was the water!!) The restaurant was nice and we ate there once, mostly because we thought it was the only place around. We did find a restaurant next door, though. It was a bit hidden and in the opposite direction of the way back to town. This was definitely the better place to eat! The man who owned it was super nice and we had an awesome dinner there! We had a rental car and there is a free parking lot for the hotel guests.

Approached via a dark, dingy, graffiti scrawled tunnel (with no alternate route) in a run down area - this hotel exudes faded grandeur ( but appeared clean). The staff were unwelcoming, unhelpful and unsmiling. Happy holidays!! We stayed one night and moved on.

We have just returned, had lovely weather and the hotel was nice, very clean and nice terrace area to watch the sun go down, very good bar waiter( julio), but too far away from the the town, the shuttle bus stopped at 10.30am and didn't start again till 3.00pm so very constricted on time, the last bus back from town was 6.30pm as the late bus(11.00pm) wasnt running.The taxi's normally cost 40euro.s if you pick one up in town but we arranged one with the desk staff and it cost 20euros. No restruants nearby you have to negotiate the tunnel with no path to get to the local bus. Would not recommend this to the elderly or people with children. Mostly italian guests. Its is a nice place to stay if you do not want to do much and just like to sun bathe or swim in the sea.

After reading the reviews on here we thought this hotel would be perfect for a romantic weekend away for both of us. However it didnt really pan out like that. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the indoor pool and spa as we knew the weather wouldnt be brilliant so if need be we could have a relaxing afternoon in the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel (a little tired and damp from our journey) we thought we would have a quick shower and go for a swim. Firstly "NO HOT WATER" on complaining to reception we were told that the water AND heating were not working!! but they would get it fixed shortly!!.
So we thought in the mean time we would go and have a swim and jacuzzi.........SHUT ! apparently in the off season it isnt open, there was no mention of this when we booked or when we arrived!. To cut a long story short we had no hot water or heating for the whole weekend !!!!!!!!!
That combined with the bar shutting at 8pm in the evening , the free shuttle bus not running after 4.30pm (we had to spend about 100 euros n taxis and busses )and the total lack of understanding to our plight i have to say it was an awful stay. I am sure it is a lovely place in the high season but i would never stay here again, think twice before booking!!
