“What you hoped you'd find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

What huge surprise to find that the B&B we selected was well along the renovation process in a small palace in Albergo Diffussio. Walled in city in central Italy a short drive from Naples and worth the trip. Our host was charming and could not have been nicer. Rooms renovated and great value, breakfast included. Out side your door are quaint shops and restaurants . The one directly across from the small parking square was one of our best on the trip. Of course family owned and they were wonderful. Better than staying in large cities. You won't regret.

Room Tip: chose the deluxe with bathroom in the room

It is a B&B in a remodeled old building in the historical district in Isernia. The location is as good as it can be in the town. The view from the window is spectacular. The decoration is very classical and cozy. It has only three rooms. When we stayed there it was only us. I bet it is not infrequent that this happens given that Isernia is not a typical tourist destination. We had the whole house just for us. The owners were very friendly. The breakfast is very basic, but they gave us the option to have breakfast in the restaurant across the street (which we did not try).
