We visited here Saturday 20th July, a little less than 2wks from opening. We were a family of 4, eating with a GF diner. The menu selection was good, lots of GF food, clearly shown on the menu, vegetarian choice was a little thin, but thankfully that did not bother us. Despite the glowing endorsement of our waiter for the Liver Parfait, 3 of us opted for the scallops, great sauce, scallops cooked well, Rosti a little over cooked, our daughter had the smoked duck which was very nice. For mains we had 2 x Steak (local grown) which was fantastic and twice cooked chips (tip - ckd 3 times will blow your mind), 2 x Roast Pork which was very nice, although the crackling a little salty. One very minor observation, with food as good as this put it on plates! the wooden boards for the steak, were more stile over practicality, as the gravy went into the rim (hard to get out), but the main issue was these had already cracked, resulting in the gravy flowing through onto the table.
Desserts very nice, Doughnuts with the Brulee were delicious. We skipped coffee.
All in all a very nice meal, as locals it will be hot on our regular list if these standards are maintained - well done to all.
