We visited here in October full of anticipation for a lovely Sunday Lunch. We had wanted to try the food before making a booking for a place to bring our family and friends for an upcoming celebration. However, we were sorely disappointed and found the food mundane and tasteless defiantly not worthy of the prices charged!!! The restaurant trades off the pretty garden which draws people in. Not a place I would take anybody or recommend anyone to go for a meal. There are plenty of places in this area that serve much better quality food at more realistic prices. Just stick to a drink if you want to see the garden. Try here if you want ADEQUATE SERVICE, DISAPPOINTING FOOD AND POOR AFTER SERVICE. Needless to say we will be booking elsewhere or our upcoming celebrations.

- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- We are a pretty privately owned restaurant with 7 lovely individually decorated bedrooms, serving gorgeous local or organic food. We try not to be pretentious, preferring instead to be informal and friendly, but we are still totally committed to quality and service. But the best part of all is the river and rambling gardens, home to a family of ducks and if you are lucky you might even spot a Kingfisher! ... more less
